B4™ - is a high-end immediate gratification based PRE-WORKOUT & DIET PILL. Health Notes

Conjugated Linoleic Acid

Conjugated Linoleic Acid
This nutrient has been used in connection with the following health goals
  • Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
  • Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
  • For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.

Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.

For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

This supplement has been used in connection with the following health conditions:

Obesity
Dose: 3.2 to 4.2 grams daily
Though the evidence is conflicting, some studies have shown CLA to be effective at helping people lose body fat. (more)
Athletic Performance
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Conjugated linoleic acid may play a role in reducing body fat. Research has reported that CLA supplementation produces minor gains in muscle size and strength in weight-training men.(more)
Prostate Cancer
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Preliminary research suggests that CLA might reduce the risk of cancers at several sites, including breast, prostate, colorectal, lung, skin, and stomach.(more)
Breast Cancer
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Preliminary research suggests that CLA might reduce breast cancer risk.(more)
Obesity
Dose: 3.2 to 4.2 grams dailyA double-blind trial found that exercising individuals taking 1,800 mg per day of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) lost more body fat after 12 weeks than did a similar group taking a placebo.1 However, two other studies found that amounts of CLA from 0.7 to 3.0 grams per day did not affect body composition.2, 3 Most double-blind trials have found that larger amounts of CLA, 3.2 to 4.2 grams per day, do reduce body fat;4, 5, 6, 7 however, one double-blind study of experienced strength-training athletes reported no effect of 6 grams per day of CLA on body fat, muscle mass, or strength improvement.8

Athletic Performance
Dose: Refer to label instructions

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a slightly altered form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid. Animal research suggests an effect of CLA supplementation on reducing body fat.1, 2 Controlled human research has reported that 5.6 to 7.2 grams per day of CLA produces only non-significant gains in muscle size and strength in experienced and inexperienced weight-training men.3, 4, 5 A double-blind study of a group of trained men and women reported reduced body fat in the upper arm after 12 weeks of supplementation with 1.8 grams per day of CLA.6 Further research using more accurate techniques for measuring body composition is needed to confirm these findings.

To be fair, just started today and took one before my work out in the pool. Frankly at 57/ F and appropraitely in weight, l did not feel any upset stomach problems like others describe, and really no hike feeling in energy. Will continue to monitor and definately eager to finish the bottle and see what the outcome is.

Comments about BPI SPORTS BPI B4™:

I've gone thru three jars so far and I can honestly say it's working for me. Even though I don't have any reliable way to tell body fat, as I don't trust my FitBit scale at all, I can tell that my waist is slimming down slowly but surely.
If this is just from training or the B4 is helping, I can't say, but I've gone thru a lot of fat burners to date and this is the one that worked best for me. No nausea, jitters etc at all. I've lately combined B4 with BPI Nite Burn, and that's been amping up the burn :)

Comments about BPI SPORTS BPI B4™:

Today was my first day usint the product, I took it in the car on my way to work with lots of water and half through my 45min drive i felt sick. Like an Uneasy feeling in my stomach but it passed in about 15 minutes. I drank I breakfast shake and i am literally shaking at my desk with energy. i wouldnt recommend taking this is you're not going to be doing any moving around so I'm def only to take this on workout days because I feel like I could outrun the road runner right about now. My mind is everywhere at once and Im sweating as I sit at my desk. Surprisingly I'm not hungry at all i just really want to go sprint around the block until I can't run any more. I consider that a plus since I NEVER want to work out.

I use this product daily, and work out about 4 times per week. I feel like on my days off from the gym I still have more energy to function. I did learn the hard way that this shouldn't be taken on an empty stomach (it says that on the bottle as well). I saw results within the first week! And was down a surprising 10 lbs. in one month!

Agree with review from mno6. About 30-45 minutes after taking it, began feeling nauseous. Also began getting jittery and having to urinate frequently. Here it is four hours later and still feeling the symptoms. While I'm sure this product works great for the majority of folks, for me I'm guessing it was too much caffeine or something. I'll stick with Hydroxycut SX-7 for now.

Comments about BPI SPORTS BPI B4™:

I was recommended this from the GNC guy here in Killeen. I told him things I have used in the past and he said this would be a good fit for me. First time I took it, within 20-30 minutes I could "feel" the energy. I was excited. I used it before softball and my workouts and then on my off days (I have 3 kids and I NEED energy sometimes lol) I would take one in the morning after I woke up to be energized all day. After about a week, week and a half, I stopped feeling that awesome energized feeling. Then half way throughout my workouts or practice I wouldn't feel as pumped. And on my off days I started getting tired after I took them. Then a few weeks they totally lost their effectiveness to me. I also never lost weight (one of the main reasons I was taking it). I finished the bottle (I paid for it, might as well right). Overall maybe this is something for newbies to thermogenics? It just wasn't enough for me.

I use B4 20-30 minutes before my workout and it gives me energy like crazy. I do see it contributing to weight lost, but you still have to eat properly and clean. No, it is not the oxyelite, which I loved, but it works! I am only taking it once a day like it states on the bottle, but I am sure it wouldn't hurt to take twice, but I don't feel like I need to right now.
