About This Condition

Menopause is the cessation of the monthly female menstrual cycle. Women who have not had a menstrual period for a year are considered postmenopausal.

Most commonly, menopause takes place when a woman is in her late forties or early fifties. Women who have gone through menopause are no longer fertile. Menopause is not a disease and cannot be prevented. Many hormonal changes occur during menopause. Postmenopausal women are at higher risk of heart disease and osteoporosis, presumably because of a decrease in the production of estrogen or other hormones.

    My mom was having a bad case of hot flashes at night. Sometimes, she couldn't go to bed for 2 days. I got these instead of other menopause formula because I take vitapaks myself and I really like GNCs vitapaks. My mom said the hot flashes improved tremendously and she absolutely loves them. She also said that she feels more energized during the day which I think is good.

          I have to admit, when I walked into GNC with my son, I didn't expect to walk out with a new vitamin regimine. But, wow I am glad I did. I have been taking these packs for exactly 7 days and I see a tremendous difference, especially in the night sweats department. They were just awful (like get up in the middle of the night, take a shower, change sheets awful)!!!!

          I can say in the week I have been taking them, I have had zero night sweats and not ONE hot flash during the day at all.

          I highly recommend this pack to any menopausal woman facing these issues. Also, to add to it, I actually sleep better and get up feeling more refreshed.

          Not an expert...but so far...I am in love with them. My boyfriend agrees!!!!
