Many supplement companies do not disclose their ingredients, and don't invest in science and research, or quality control. We are different. MuscleTech® invests millions in product research and development, and quality control – and our supplement facts always tell you EXACTLY what you are getting: The Most Powerful Supplements on Earth!

MuscleTech® is the Leader in Science with a Multi-Million Dollar Research Budget – A portion of every dollar spent on MuscleTech® supplements is allocated toward scientific research to discover new and more effective ways to increase lean muscle and strength, and improve athletic performance. In fact, Team MuscleTech® researchers have collaborated with researchers at over 20 universities and research facilities around the world to study the various key ingredients found in our powerful formulas.

Platinum Pure CLA 95 – Platinum Pure CLA 95 delivers the world's most pure CLA. In fact, you won't find a one-soft gel serving of any other product that delivers more CLA than Platinum Pure CLA 95.

CLA has been clinically studied and shown to increase muscle growth and strength. Research suggests that it works by down-regulating the TNF-alpha catabolic enzyme in muscle, helping to prevent your body from breaking down your lean muscle mass. In one clinical study, subjects taking 5g of CLA per day built 6 times more muscle than those using a placebo (2.8 lbs. vs. 0.4 lbs.) in just 7 weeks. That's why you need to add Platinum Pure CLA 95 to your muscle building program today!

Health Notes

Conjugated Linoleic Acid

Conjugated Linoleic Acid
This nutrient has been used in connection with the following health goals
  • Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
  • Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
  • For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.

Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.

For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

This supplement has been used in connection with the following health conditions:

Obesity
Dose: 3.2 to 4.2 grams daily
Though the evidence is conflicting, some studies have shown CLA to be effective at helping people lose body fat. (more)
Athletic Performance
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Conjugated linoleic acid may play a role in reducing body fat. Research has reported that CLA supplementation produces minor gains in muscle size and strength in weight-training men.(more)
Prostate Cancer
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Preliminary research suggests that CLA might reduce the risk of cancers at several sites, including breast, prostate, colorectal, lung, skin, and stomach.(more)
Breast Cancer
Dose: Refer to label instructions
Preliminary research suggests that CLA might reduce breast cancer risk.(more)
Obesity
Dose: 3.2 to 4.2 grams dailyA double-blind trial found that exercising individuals taking 1,800 mg per day of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) lost more body fat after 12 weeks than did a similar group taking a placebo.1 However, two other studies found that amounts of CLA from 0.7 to 3.0 grams per day did not affect body composition.2, 3 Most double-blind trials have found that larger amounts of CLA, 3.2 to 4.2 grams per day, do reduce body fat;4, 5, 6, 7 however, one double-blind study of experienced strength-training athletes reported no effect of 6 grams per day of CLA on body fat, muscle mass, or strength improvement.8

Athletic Performance
Dose: Refer to label instructions

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a slightly altered form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid. Animal research suggests an effect of CLA supplementation on reducing body fat.1, 2 Controlled human research has reported that 5.6 to 7.2 grams per day of CLA produces only non-significant gains in muscle size and strength in experienced and inexperienced weight-training men.3, 4, 5 A double-blind study of a group of trained men and women reported reduced body fat in the upper arm after 12 weeks of supplementation with 1.8 grams per day of CLA.6 Further research using more accurate techniques for measuring body composition is needed to confirm these findings.

Comments about MuscleTech™ Platinum Pure CLA 95:

I've read multiple times that CLA pills can help you add strength, and this product turned out to prove what I read to be correct. I received a free sample tub of this as part of a field test team from MuscleTech and got great results in both muscle size and strength. Couldn't be happier
