Product Information

GNC SuperFoods Coconut Oil is a great-tasting, nutritious alternative to use when cooking or baking. Coconut oil is a naturally rich source of medium chain triglyceride (MCTs), which are quickly absorbed by the body to produce energy. MCTs are hydrolyzed more rapidly and metabolized more completely than long chain fatty acids. Our cold-pressed, organic extra virgin oil is from the Philippines and is naturally free of trans-fat, 100% cholesterol free, contains no hexane and is certified non-GMO. GNC SuperFoods Coconut Oil is highly heat stable, ideal for cooking and makes a delicious, energizing substitute for regular oils, butter or shortening in recipes. Spread on bread or mix into your favorite smoothie. Enjoy the great, refreshing taste of the tropics with GNC SuperFoods Coconut Oil!

Great Quality as Always
This is the first time I've ordered their coconut oil from online, though I've been in the stores and bought the largest container they had before. There's no difference in the quality between the two and was as fresh as the first time I've tried it. Only minor issue for me was that it had gotten hot in the delivery truck and started to melt / leak a little into the box. Other than that, everything was great!

BEST ANSWER: You can leave coconut oil in a cabinet or in the refrigerator. You may cook with it or put it into smoothies. It may also be used as a substitute for butter or shortening in recipes.
