Let me start this review by saying wow, what a genuine tasting product! If you are looking for a bcaa that taste like what it is truly supposed to (Fruit Punch Explosion) look no further! The flavor is 110%. I Could not be more pleased with the taste as this by far beats any expectations. This product comes with 50 servings of ½ a scoop. Recommended daily intake of 2 scoops. I have been taking this product during my workout with 1 scoop, 10 grams of powder. 1 scoop contains, 35 calories, 0 grams sugar!, 4 grams leucine, 1 gram taurine, and 1 gram glutamine with some extra ingredients I have not listed. I mix my 1 scoop with 8oz to 10oz of water. The powder blends nicely leaving no chunks or grit. After consuming this product I truly feel less fatigued and have less muscle soreness following after my workout. I have noticed come next morning I am feeling little to no soreness at all and am ready to hit my next workout. This amino acid blend does everything a bcaa should do with aiding a workout recovery. I always include a bcaa in my workout routine to help keep me on my schedule and not missing days due to tiredness and soreness. This product has for sure won me over with its great benefits and amazing taste. I will be turning to this product when I am in need. In all this is a genuine product put out by muscletech leaving me liking there products more and more each time. I truly believe in their company and the products they offer and will purchase items from them over competitor brands. 10/10 product.

I like this product. I lift heavy and hard. I think that it helps my body recover from all of the abuse I put it though. It mixes extremely well. I feel that the stronger I make it, water/mix ratio, the better it tastes to me. I also feel that it gives my body a little extra endurance to lift the extra 5lbs.

Introduction
Let's start with a little background! I hate biased reviews, and this is going to be far from it. A little about myself is that I've been an avid lifter, one who goes after both strength and aesthetics. I've been training and dieting for those goals for about 10+ years. I use supplements each and every day. Some include: multi vitamins, essential fatty acids, amino acids, protein powder and bars, pre-workouts, intra and post workouts. I often use things that are clinically dosed with quality ingredients, but I can occasionally grab the super deals I can find.

Ingredient Profile (8/10)
I'm not going to bore each and every one of you individuals by going through this product ingredient by ingredient but rather just highlight what I feel is noteworthy. IT SHOULD BE NOTED I WILL BE REVIEWING THE PRODUCT AT THE FULL SERVING BEING ONE SCOOP!

-BCAAs! I like that this product has 4 full grams of Leucine! BCAAs are crucial and they are what we look for an a... wait for it... BCAA/Amino Acid product! I wish that this product did have around 10 grams per full serving! That is usually what I look for in a BCAA product!

-PEAK AT- This is always an interesting ingredient that is added... I feel that the ingredient helps out with a boost of sustained energy during a workout. I feel that this ingredient is the worth the extra dollars spent on this product. I don't know whether the boost is from a placebo effect or whether it actually works. I'm a science buff, and believe that it is truly more from being effective versus the placebo effect.

Taste/Mixability/Dosing

Taste (8.5/10) I am reviewing the fruit punch explosion flavor, and it's a great flavor. To be fair I have only used this product at the full scoop as I am over 200 lbs and like to attain more amino acids intraworkout. I use my amino acids with a full shaker cup (20 oz) of water, and it leaves this product with a mild fruit punch flavor which I enjoy sipping on. Muscle tech has got the flavor right on this one, especially with the amount of leucine included which can usually make a BCAA product chalky and bitter!

Mixability (10/10) The mixability is no problem what so ever! Add water, add the powder, shake and you are good to go!

Dosing (10/10) I love the dosing of the full scoop for this product. Has everything you need for an amino acid product with all the benefits of additional energy and performance from the ATP. The added pump ingredients are awesome as well. Put it like this, if you wanted to make an amino acid product you would come up with an ingredient profile very close to this product!

Effectiveness (10/10)
It does what it is supposed to do! But that being said, IT IS NOT A MAGIC ANYTHING! Don't expect to gain 10 pounds of lean pure muscle just from sipping on this during each workout! It will help though with SUPPLEMENTING to your needs!

Amino acids are crucial, especially when cutting body fat and trying to hold on to hard earned muscle. I am currently on a keto diet, and this product has aided me greatly while I started this new diet. This product will work for you, as long as you work for you!

Great product that helps me with recovery and taste great! I usually throw a scoop and a half into a gallon of water and drink it throughout the day and my workout.

I add this to my water and drink it throughout the day. I really like the taste. I am happy to say, like so many have said already, since I started taking Amino 4XL SX-7 I am not sore after my workouts (which is incredible) AND my energy and recovery during my workouts is the best it has ever been. For me this is a must have supplement to my lifestyle and routine!

This product definitely help in my recovery from my workouts. I typically take one scoop before my morning cardio workout and consume another scoop throughout my work day. I notice an increase in my energy and muscles not as sore from evening workouts. The flavor does take some us to getting too but eventually it's grew on me.

I usually take up aminos whenever I'm cutting or deloading from pre-workouts. I started my cutting phase late this year and i had 2 weeks to get ready. I supplemented the Black onyx 4xl as a way to regulate my cravings and in 2 weeks i dropped 9lbs, startings from 12% body fat down to 9% body fat. Overall i highly recommend this product.

This product is rich tasting and effective. I've been taking 1-2 scoops during my workouts and am not feeling as fatigued during and after them - even while on a juice cleanse. Definitely a good addition in your supplement arsenal.

Just tried out this bcaa in the fruit punch explosion flavour and love it! I use it intra-workout or during cardio and especially like how it has Peak ATP in the formula, citrulline and glutamine making it perfect for recovery and strength.

I haven't used Amino's before in my years of training, but that was before I started a heavier cardio routine into my daily mix. After testing this product for several weeks I have found that it gives me an extra drive and dare I say pump to push on. The taste is amazing and goes down smooth without any extra grainy or sanding mix at the bottom which I love! I received this product from MuscleTech as a tester and again they continue to provide great products any fitness level. Couldn't be happier with the results!

I always had seen guys in the gym drinking shakes during their workouts and really didn't realize the reasoning behind it until I started doing it myself. After a few days taking this Amino, I felt that my workouts were lasting longer and that I was able to rep out and extra rep. On my last set I was able to add 5% more weight and I was able to get an extra 2-3 reps, depending on my workouts. Those extra reps is where its all at. I received this product from the team at MuscleTech to try out in exchange for an honest review. At the time of this review, I have taken Amino 4XL for 9 days. First off, the taste description on the label is accurate – it is in fact delicious and it also mixes very well. The ingredient profile is pretty solid, with basic aminos (leucine, isoleucine, valine) at a great ratio and bonus ingredients like the novel Peak ATP ingredient as well as an electrolyte blend. The forms of leucine that are used are quite new to me, but I’m not sure how much the average person will benefit from them vs. previous forms that were used. Personally, I take a half scoop since my preworkout already has a lot of these ingredients and thus it allows for the product to last longer; I don’t take it twice a day, although there could be added benefits to this that I haven’t experienced. I wouldn’t expect a pump from this product since citrulline amount is relatively low, but it never made this claim. The endurance benefits from the ingredients will probably help build muscle over time. Overall, very satisfied thus far.

I've never used any drinks during my workouts except water as I always thought they were frankly unnecessary. I got to try some of this from the folks at muscle tech and this was pretty eye opening. I drink it during my workouts and it keeps my energy level high. I definitely get more reps in on every exercise but that's not the eye opening part for me. My recovery has been much better since taking this! I train hard and I also wear my body out with jiu-jitsu. Taking this stuff during my workouts helps me feel fresher the next day and I don't cramp on the mats anymore. I feel so much better and I can train hard consistently with less time off. This product made a believer out of me. Definitely will add this to my supplement usage going forward

Love this product. I typically use this during a heavy lifting session and when I do some cross-training. The biggest difference is that when you get halfway through a workout and typically feel a lull, these aminos pick you right back up and help push through your barriers. Tastes and mixes better than ever. I will be keeping this in my stack for a while!

i've been hooked on the NEW amino 4XL. the SX-7 line from muscletech has really proven itself to ben next big thing in supplements. i used to take amino build on a daily basis. got a chance to try this and it's super smooth, tasy and i actually got a little more "oomphf" in the middle of my workout!!

I received this as a free sample from MuscleTech and the first thing I noticed is that it tastes great. Mixes easily in a shaker cup or a glass with a spoon. I also like that it is loaded with BCAAs so this definitely helped me get stronger and I felt like my stamina improved while using this.

I like sipping on Amino Acids during my workout and sometimes I use it as a pre-workout. It has no jittery effect on me, I feel like it is a steady state of strength. If you have weight lifted for a few years, you know what I'm talking about. You feel like you can do 10 pullups with great power and a tight core. The taste is really good on this too. I've had AA's before that tasted chalky or made my stomach upset. I take this on an empty stomach sometimes in the morning before I workout and I've had no issues. If you are looking for something serious to add to your stack, think about the Black Onyx! I really like it.
