L-GLutamine works
I take about 3 grams 2x/day in my post-workout shakes. At night, I take 5 grams on an empty stomach (no food for at least 2 hours.

One of the main benefits of L-Glutamine on an empty stomach is that it has been shown to increase HgH levels by 400%.

It works for me. I am 47, and I am in the best shape of my life.

great performance!
I bought this product for my father. He is a cancer patient and his doctor told him to use this product to build his body and might be able to reduce some side effects from the chemo/radiation therapy. He has used this product for one month and the result is good. He started to gain some weight and does not feel most of the side effects from the therapy.

Greatly helps recovery!
I take this glutamine post workout and before bedtime, and I have been using it for a long time. It greatly reduces recovery time and soreness.

Glutamine - The Unsung Hero
Glutamine is one of our bodies most abundant essential amino acids. Supplementing only helps replenish what our bodies have depleted during exercise. It helps in the breakdown of lactic acid buildup, which is why we get sore. Helps in the building of muscle, since it is an essiential amino. Studies have even shown that it helps release more HGH stores in the body. It is a win-win natural supplement. I recommend adding it to an exsisting sports drink, protein, recovery drink, or with milk. It can have a chaulky taste.

works well
I have found that this product helps me recover from my workouts more quickly for an affordable price. I usually take the product twice, immediately after each of my two daily workouts. If I work out once in a day, I take it after the workout and about an hour before bedtime.

Mixes well with protein powders or can just be taken with water.

GNC Pro Performance L-glutamine
I use this product exclusively for recovery after training rides/races. Can do 4-6 hour hard training rides or 3 hour races here in Texas, use this product and feel the next day like I didn't ride the day before at all. I'm 47 and have been using this product for 10 years. There is not a single recovery product on the market today that works as good as L-glutamine.

Extremely effective
Extremely effective against muscle fatigue and that "rusty" feeling after a hard workout from the day before. It considerably speeds up my muscle recouperation and I feel much less lactic acid pain than I would normally if I didn't take the product. Every time I work out hard I take this. Very good product.

Postworkout Staple!
Part of my postworkout regimen. I mix it into my protein shake on weightlifting days or into my hydration formula (very diluted commercial product) on cardio-training days. I have tried not using L-Glutamine for postworkout nutrition and have always felt a noticeable difference when I did not (longer recovery, fatigue, soreness, etc). There is no substitute!
