Menopause
Menopause- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Menopause is the cessation of the monthly female menstrual cycle. Women who have not had a menstrual period for a year are considered postmenopausal.
Most commonly, menopause takes place when a woman is in her late forties or early fifties. Women who have gone through menopause are no longer fertile. Menopause is not a disease and cannot be prevented. Many hormonal changes occur during menopause. Postmenopausal women are at higher risk of heart disease and osteoporosis, presumably because of a decrease in the production of estrogen or other hormones.

Comments about Country Life® Maxine's Maximized Menopause Formula:
Because of breast cancer in my immediate family...the last 3 years of menopausing has been sheer misery. I decided to investigate the natural side, and thought with all of the familiar ingredients, it would be a safe bet, and hopefully with no adverse reactions. I honestly can say that after 1 week of steady full dosage use, I was feeling 75% like my old self. Considering I have been at 3% for 3 years, it has been a blessing.

Comments about Country Life® Maxine's Maximized Menopause Formula:
I had a hysterectomy in February and the hot flashes, night sweats and irritability after the surgery were horrible and were getting worse. Not wanting to take synthetic HRT I started researching and looking for alternatives. This product has all the herbs I found in my research and it works. I've been taking it for three weeks. I started noticing the hot flashes subsiding after two weeks. Also helps with the nervousness and irritability. Great product. The pills are a bit large but I have had no problem swallowing them. I highly recommend it.
