Rice protein is extracted from rice and used in some protein supplements. Vegetarians may prefer it over protein supplements made from animal sources (such as whey or casein, which are milk proteins). This is my second brand of egg protein I've had. My first was GNC Pro Performance. The amount of amino acids in this one are defiantly more favorable. The only caution with this one is that you CAN'T let it sit very long before you drink it. It starts to taste eggy, unlike the GNC Brand. That seems to be the only major difference between the two brands. So If you can skip a little on the flavor, you can get this one for less.
