Just bought this for the first time, but compared to typical 'Calcium Citrate +D formlations, this dissolves quickly. I can actually chew the tablet. Of course it doesn't taste great. Does it activate bone building? We'll see how my x-rays look in a few years.

Osteoporosis runs in my mom's side of the family. My maternal grandmother had this, and I am pretty sure that I am a good candidate for it. When I am at the age of menopause, I will have all 3 of the risks. I will be female (of course) at the age of (after) menopause) and thin framed.
I want to do everything I can to promote my bone health while I can. I don't want to have to worry years down the road if I drank enough milk or ate food with enough vitamins to get the protection I need. I don't want to worry about falling and breaking something.
