Research suggests that it may help reduce fatigue during exercise.Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Twenty amino acids are needed to build the various proteins used in the growth, repair, and maintenance of body tissues. Eleven of these amino acids can be made by the body itself, while the other nine (called essential amino acids) must come from the diet. The essential amino acids are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Another amino acid, histidine, is considered semi-essential because the body does not always require dietary sources of it. The nonessential amino acids are arginine, alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, proline, serine, and tyrosine. I gotta give props to BLOX! First day I use blox, I started working out but its pretty intense. In a week, I can see my muscle grew a little bit then next week BAM. I'm 51 years old, and at my age recovery is one of the most important things for a weight lifter. I used to be cripple by soreness, but no more. This stuff just works! I'm almost never really badly sore, no matter what I do, even if doing something new.
I generally follow the LeanGains morning fasted workout protocol, so I take a serving before working out, then another serving about an hour after workout, and another an hour after that. Keeps protein synthesis going without really breaking your "fast". Then I gobble down a big lunch. Works!

I am 42 years old and overweight. I have been working out for about 6 months now trying to get back into shape. The soreness was killing me, I went from feeling achy all the time from being out of shape (joint pain) to always having bad muscle soreness. This product really helps with recovery, the soreness is much more bearable and doesn't make me not want to workout the next day. I take this with the jack3d before a workout. It tastes great all by itself. I use to take it in the middle of my workout which worked well. Now i mix it before with the jack3d. It improves the taste of the 3d.
