Health Notes

Vitamin B3

Vitamin B3
  • Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
  • Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
  • For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.

Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.

For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about Cellucor® Super HD™:

I was hoping this would replace the OxyElitePro, but sadly it did not. I did lose some weight, but I think its because I have been exercising every day and eating healthy. I wont buy this again.

I really like this product but it only suppress my appetite for the first two hours of taking it, I drink a little over a gallon of water a day but the churning in my stomach won't go away.I've been taking it for two weeks now and lost 8lbs.I'm not exactly hungry after two hours of taking it but my stomach feels that way with the churning and the noises.

      Comments about Cellucor® Super HD™:

I've heard many great things about this and people have had great results, but this product just wasn't for me. I've used thermogenetics before, and I'm not caffeine sensitive, but this one just didn't like me. I don't know if I didn't work out enough while using this product, because I've been working more lately, but I had minor heart palpitations and had problems sleeping. I ended up tossing the last week of pills because I just did not like the way I was feeling on them. I did feel more energetic but I didn't really feel much difference from my other preworkout I was taking before this when I did hit the gym. You really have to be active to burn this stuff out of your system before you sleep otherwise you will have problems falling asleep.

This product may be a bit strong for first timer but, it works if you exercise and eat right...

The first couple of days taking this made me feel tired and weak. I dragged through my workouts and felt nauseated the entire time. After my body adjusted to the nausea and headaches, I was constantly hungry and sleepy. It didn't matter, even when I increased the dose to two capsules as directed. After about two and a half weeks of taking it and gaining weight, I switched to OxyElite Pro and haven't looked back.

            Comments about Cellucor® Super HD™:

I've never been a big fan of supplements, but after taking this, I've been blown away.

I'm what they call a yo-yo dieter. I sit around 165 and when I hit 180-185, I start the diet and exercise routine until I hit my target weight of about 160-165, and then ease up and enjoy eating and being lazy again until i swing back up in weight.

I'm currently sitting at 185, and started my weight loss regimine that consists of weights 3 times a week and cardio 4 times a week. I eat grilled chicken breast and vegetables. I avoid carbs all together except once a week. I consume about 100g of healthy fat each day in the form of olive oil, coconut oil, or avocado. I take a multivitamin and L-Carnitine. This plan usually gets me to my target weight in about 8-12 weeks, averaging 2 pounds of weight loss a week, which is healthy and normal.

Now for the good part: I acquired a new roommate, who was the GM at the local GNC. He noticed that I was starting to work out again in order to lose the weight that I've gained, and he offered to let my try the cellucor HD. I never take supplements as I regard them as a waste of money and a load of hocum and have never felt the need to use them as my weight loss plan works well enough. However, I obliged and started taking the recommended 1 in the morning ON AN EMPTY STOMACH and 1 in the afternoon. After about 3 days, I noticed that I had a consistent level of energy throughout the day. I wasn't wired or hyper, and I wasn't tired or drowsy. I usually like to take a nap during the day, but didn't feel the need to do so whatsoever. After the 5th day of taking the supplement, I still have great consistent energy levels and I stepped on the scale and noticed I was 3 pounds lighter. Miraculous! If I continue to lose 3 pounds a week, I will have cut down my weight loss time in half!

I'm unsure if this level of weight loss will be sustainable for more than a few weeks, but so far it is promising! I was told that it is a diuretic, but I haven't really noticed having to urinate more than I normally do. I have however noticed that I am drinking more water and that I am definitely more prone to sweating and sweating a whole lot more. I actually feel like I'm sweating all the time.

Basically, I love this product. It is definitely worth trying. I'm unsure of its effectiveness if you aren't working out or not consuming a healthy diet, but if you are, this will definitely aid you in your weight loss goals.
