Description
  • 1500 mg of fish oil in each serving, providing 900 mg total OMEGA-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA
  • May reduce the risk of coronary heart disease
  • Helps maintain healthy cholesterol and blood pressure
  • Promotes join, brain and skin health
  • Supports the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response
Fish Oils naturally provide the heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acids EPA (Eicosapentaenoic Acid) and DHA (Docosahexaenoic Acid). One enteric coated softgel capsule features a total of 900 mg of omega-3 fatty acids-540 mg of EPA and 360 mg of DHA, three times the strength of GNC’s regular Fish Oil. The enteric coating allows the softgel capsule to break down and absorb in the small intestine. This controls or reduces fishy burps.A landmark study involving over 11,000 participants has confirmed the major benefits of fish oil on cardiovascular health. The omega-3 fatty acids found in fish oil are necessary for heart health. They help support normal, healthy cholesterol levels and are necessary in the maintenance of normal blood pressure. Individually, EPA is important for circulatory system health, and DHA provides support for healthy triglyceride levels. In addition to numerous heart health benefits, fish oil also:
  • Supports joint and skin health
  • Supports the body’s natural anti-inflammatory response
  • Supplies DHA which is required for optimal eye and brain function.
GNC Triple Strength Fish Oil 1500 has been purified and manufactured for freshness. Five separate purification processes are used until each batch of fish oil in our products if found to be free of detectable levels of mercury, cadmium, lead and PCBs. We use only the best quality ingredients derived from wild, deep ocean fish.

Health Notes

Fish Oil & Cod Liver Oil (EPA & DHA)

Fish Oil & Cod Liver Oil (EPA & DHA)
  • Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
  • Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
  • For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.

Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.

For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about GNC Triple Strength Fish Oil 1500:

GNC Fish Oils are an effective, accountable, and affordable value when on sale. They provide a good amount of EPA/DHA per capsule. I take up to 10 grams per day, so cost is an important factor. They still contain soybean oil, which is less than ideal, but the amount seems to be small.

        I take 1 GNC Triple Strength 1500 Fish Oil before work. At the same time I also take 2 { all GNC }
        2 B-Complex 50, 2 Vit E 400, 2 Vit B-12 1000, Vit D, 10,000 IU per Doctor, per day, 6 Vit C 500 mg, and 50 mg DHEA as Per doctor.

I take 2-4 more Vit C at lunch and 1 more DHEA.

First of all, let me tell you I start work in Las Vegas at 4 am PST and I love it. I get to watch NFL. Since I started this Vitamin Cocktail 6 months ago, my energy level for a 56 year old male has doubled or even tripled some days. I still days where feel ... well alright, but I also have a few beers a week {10-20} and I know that doesn't help.
Overall though, I FEEL GREAT !!!

P.S., I buy my Vitamins at GNC because I shopped around. You get MORE BANG for LESS BUCK At GNC.

I take this every day in the morning right after breakfast. The pills are normal size but packed with about 3X the standard amount of typical fish oil. I take it for general health reasons and you won't feel any different or notice many differences but It's a very good idea to take these pills regularly. Highly recommended!
