Quick Dissolving, Lactose Free- Features 25g of Anabolic Protein Delivering All 9 Critical Amino Acids
- Highly Digestive and Absorbable Versus Other Proteins
- Complete Source of Muscle Fueling BCAA and Lactose Free
Egg protein is the highest quality because it is very easily digested and is a complete protein source containing all 9 essential amino acids, which are key for supporting healthy muscle. This makes it a perfect pre- or post-workout protein. Unlike dairy based proteins, whey or casein, egg protein is naturally free of lactose and therefore much easier to digest for those who have trouble with dairy based protein powders. One serving of GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein provides the quality protein found in 4 eggs but with much less fat and cholesterol.

Rice Protein
Rice Protein- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.
This supplement has been used in connection with the following health conditions:
Used for Amount Why AtherosclerosisRefer to label instructions
[1 star] Though not yet proven in clinical research, animal studies suggest that rice protein-based diets result in less buildup of atherosclerotic plaque compared with animal protein-based diets.
Athletic PerformanceRefer to label instructions
[1 star] Some athletes believe rice protein may also improve blood flow to muscle to enhance growth and repair. However, no research has investigated the effects of rice protein on athletic performance.
ObesityRefer to label instructions
[1 star] Dieters who are gluten or dairy sensitive and looking to supplement protein might consider rice protein, though its actual benefits for weight loss have not been studied.
Rice protein is extracted from rice and used in some protein supplements. Vegetarians may prefer it over protein supplements made from animal sources (such as whey or casein, which are milk proteins). Since rice is rarely involved in food allergies,1 rice protein may also be preferred by people with food allergies, and may be suitable to use in hypoallergenic infant formulas.2 Rice protein is not a complete protein, however, due to insufficient levels of the amino acids lysine and threonine.3, 4 Therefore, these amino acids are often added to rice protein products to correct this imbalance.

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein - Chocolate Supreme:
Was looking for an egg protein & something with less sugar & fat than what I was using. Smells great, mixes well in everything - and I am very happy with the taste.
Aside from its affordablitly, it is a quality product with very few ingredients, and low side effects. This was also sold out at several local GNC stores... lending to its popularity.Pros

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein - Chocolate Supreme:
It's difficult for a lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, sugar intolerant gastric bypass patient to find a protein shake that works. This is the only one I can stomach. My only advice is mix the shake in tepid liquid before going either hot or cold....it can bunch up. Never microwave it either.

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein - Chocolate Supreme:
This product works as expected. I would love to have a product that didn't give me such bad gas. Products like Muscle milk advertise lactose free, but if you read the back there are still milk by product which seemingly enough still cause the irritable stomach cramps and loose stool. I guess you can't ask for too much. This product was definetly placed at the right price.

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein - Chocolate Supreme:
this product does have less protein than that wheyabolic 60 but it also has less sugar and if you are lactose intolerant like me you will be so happy to have this with you. it has a bit of salt but its almost the same as eating one hotdog which is not too bad.
Pros
- Good if Lactose Intolernt
Cons
- Extremely High in Sodium
Best Uses
Comments about GNC Pro Performance® 100% Egg Protein - Chocolate Supreme:
I currently use the GNC Wheybolic 60 and Recovery RX as well as Gold Standard Whey and Casein. When I saw this I thought it was an awesome idea since the item doesn't contain alot of fat or cholestorol. However, the downside is that it has almost 500 mg in one serving which is insane. And that's only for 1 serving which contains 25g of protein. Comparing it to Wheybolic 60 which 3 scoops is 60g proteins with only 250mg sodium, almost 2.5 times the protein and half the sodium of the egg protein. Even if you only need 20g protein, you might as well go with something else lower in sodium which isn't really that good for the body in excess. 500mg is 1/3 of the body's DRI for Na+ (Sodium).
