I have a voracious appetite and I find that this stuff does help to tame it. It was enough of a change that I noted the difference. My cravings are much less intense, and I don't think about eating all the time...pretty good for me. I still have a hard time controlling myself at night so I think I just need to take it later in the day, or maybe take an extra one.
My mother takes it now too (77 yrs) and she says it works for her.
