Nitric Oxide
Nitric Oxide- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

[2 stars] It has been speculated that AAKG may increase production of nitric oxide, a substance known to enhance blood flow. In one study, AAKG improved measures of strength and short-term power performance in weight lifters.Nitric oxide is the popular name for AAKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate), a compound made from the amino acid L-arginine and alpha-ketoglutarate, a substance formed in the body's energy-generating process. AAKG is a popular supplement among bodybuilders and other athletes because of claims that it increases production of nitric oxide in muscles. Nitric oxide is known to have blood-flow-enhancing effects,1 which could in theory increase the delivery of oxygen and nutrients to exercising muscle. While L-arginine by itself is known to increase nitric oxide production, no research has been done to show that AAKG does the same. However, double-blind trials of AAKG suggest it improves some measures of strength and power resulting from weight training.2, 3

Comments about RIVAL US RIVALUS™ Powder™ Burn – Fruit Punch:
Great Product! In my line of work being drug-free is required. After having used some of the other brands, it was hard to find something that gave the same effect while still being clean. Well, until now.

Ive just tried my sample of this today, the taste was bad but thats not everything.. It gave me intense focus and strength. The thing i like about this is that its creatine free and banned substance free . Very good once you get past the taste. Ive taken c4 , assault and jacke3d and this is right up there with them and without the shady fillers . definetly recommend this

Comments about RIVAL US RIVALUS™ Powder™ Burn – Fruit Punch:
I tried a sample of this alittle while ago and went and bought it the next day. I don't usually take anything before the gym except for a sample here and there, but I actually really enjoyed this. It's not sweet like a lot of energy drinks, it's kind of bland but I added lemon. I don't take it all the time but when I do I get a bit hyped up or jittery and just feel like I really need to burn off some energy! I sweat a lot, but that's a good thing right lol? I took it in the evening one time and didn't end up going to the gym and I was awake for a long time, but I learned my lesson. Powder Burn is winning for me.

Comments about RIVAL US RIVALUS™ Powder™ Burn – Fruit Punch:
I bought this the lat time I was at GNC because my sales person recommended it to me and it was on sale cheaper than my normal stuff.. First let me say the taste isn't the best so if you're looking for something sweet this isn't it. I personally don't care how stuff tastes because I'm not looking for juice I just want it to work. I had the fruit punch flavour and I tried the lime after from a friend and it a lot better actually. Still not too sweet though and I think that's good because that means its not full of things to sweeten it.
Anyway I really like powder burn. It's probably in my top two right now. I take it when I have to workout at the end of my shifts which can be pretty long. It gives me awesome energy and I don't feel yucky or like im crashing halfway through my workout. I take just the one little scoop and that's all I need.Pros
Cons
- Has Side Effects
- Tastes Bad

Comments about RIVAL US RIVALUS™ Powder™ Burn – Fruit Punch:
I tried a free sample of this and it was a horrible experience. First of all, the taste, it was like cough syrup. Second, you could feel it start kicking in after 20 minutes and seemed ok at first, it was reminding my of an old school pre-workout, but after about 40 minutes it was too much. I became very jittery and light headed, so much so, that I had to stop working out even though I had barely started. I should know better than to try these free samples. So this ruined my workout for the day, I'll go back to the prework formula that I paid for as it works and taste good, without the side affects.

Comments about RIVAL US RIVALUS™ Powder™ Burn – Fruit Punch:
This was an awesome pre workout. Its basically a step up from COMPLEX5 in terms of creating more energy. This one is more of a bodybuilder perworkout in my opinion, while COMPLEX5 is still solid to take in competition. Great product by a trust worthy company... No banned substance based on WADA and IOC!
