This product comes ready to use out of the box. It's a bit tough to adjust the weights "quickly" and it's hard for me (5'8", 157lbs) to get a snug fit. Yet, once I got set up, I was able to get a good workout. I really love how I can empty the weights (or use light resistance), attach the speed chute, and do some extreme sprinting sequences. The price is reasonable as well compared to other brands.

I use this vest for running and other cardio work mostly. And this is where I ran into issues with it. First the shoulder straps will not stay tightened so you constantly have to stop and tighten them. On my third run with this vest I just had one of the clips on the shoulder break as well as one of the metal rings for the straps bend. I am sure it would work just fine is you are just walking or doing pushups but if you are going to be doing a lot of movement this vest with its plastic clips probably isn't what you want.

I mainly use the vest for HIIT workouts and for running. I love the ability to adjust the fit to your needs/specifications.. Only con for me is the shoulder strap adjustment. I'm 5'8", 168 lbs with athletic build. I like the vest to be snug but for my frame the shoulder straps don't have enough room to come down and latch the shoulder strap cleanly. I have to fold it up a bit. I guess because I am short. Not a big problem just an annoyance. Overall, after about 3 months of use, I love the vest so far.

I bought this for myself about a week ago, and when i first put it on it was a bit confusing but i notice my mistake (wrong velcro) i train everyday and for a 5'7 and 145 pound 16 year old it is a must! forget the monthly fee for the gym, load this baby up with all the weights and do push ups dips and pulls ups and sprints, you will feel the burn in the morning! and trust me.. burn! I recomend a solid protein shake after each work out with this item, (or a protein meal, fish meat, eggs, ect.) the only problem that anyone might find with this item is that the weights might be a little difficult to put in, but thats all its a must guys!. hope this helped!
