- Health Notes
-
Lutein
Lutein- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about GNC Natural Brand™ Lutein 20 mg:
I bought 1 bottle for my mother in a retail store in US.
But when my mother opened it, she found it was a defective one, the seal inside was broken even the plastic package outside is complete, and only 16 pills left in the bottle which supposed to be 60 pills!
Now I came back to Shanghai so i have to bear the loss by myself, but I still feel very angry and must complain it! Why this bottle can be sold to a customer? How did GNC company conrol the Quality?Pros

Comments about GNC Natural Brand™ Lutein 20 mg:
The product is fine, but your on-line service is the pits & I will not use it again. First they sent me someone else's order. Then they sent me half of mine. Then they sent all of mine. I have called 2x and was to have received a mailing label (promised both times) to return the first and second mailings. I have yet to receive any such mailing label and have been too busy and discouraged to call again.
