In a recent, randomized, cross-over, double-blind clinical trial, men and women between 18 and 70 years of age were recruited. Subjects were scheduled for two testing sessions a week apart where, after an overnight fast, blood samples were drawn over a period of 120 minutes after consumption of either the proprietary Growth Factor-9 blend or placebo capsules. Neither the subjects nor the investigators knew at which session the subjects received the GF-9 blend and at which session they received the placebo. At the end of the study, the samples were tested for serum hormone levels, and the results were independently analyzed. The results: the GF-9 blend led to a 682% increase in serum hormone levels at 120 minutes, which was significant above and beyond placebo.*

Research suggests that it may help reduce fatigue during exercise.Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Twenty amino acids are needed to build the various proteins used in the growth, repair, and maintenance of body tissues. Eleven of these amino acids can be made by the body itself, while the other nine (called essential amino acids) must come from the diet. The essential amino acids are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Another amino acid, histidine, is considered semi-essential because the body does not always require dietary sources of it. The nonessential amino acids are arginine, alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, proline, serine, and tyrosine. Other amino acids, such as carnitine and taurine, are used by the body in ways other than protein-building and are often used therapeutically. I'm not a big fan of most supplements. Most are junk that are laced with caffeine and sold at high prices with no proof they work (and no FDA oversight). I was working out, but not eating real well and not losing weight. I decided to try this out of desperation, and the weight began to fall off within the first two weeks. I feel leaner and stronger. Four weeks in and I have already lost 10 lbs with almost no change in diet or exercise. I am planning to continue buying this, even though I think the price is too high. So far, given the results I have seen, I think it is worth it. Also, no jitters, drowsiness, etc. You wouldn't even know you took it except for how your body is changing. Hard for me to admit, but I think this one may be legit.

I was excited to give this a try until I saw the 1-800 number and noticed it was made by a company called Basic Research. They have made SEVERAL horrible products including Relacore, Akavar (huge lawsuit now), oxydrene, and Endothil. Please dont spend your hard earnt money on this.

I take this product every morning around 7 a.m. My mood improved a whole lot. My performance is incredible. I can do more in an hour than I could before. There are no side effects like other products I have used and I get really drowsy and moody. This product is the complete opposite, no drowsiness or moodiness. It has only been about three weeks and I am seeing better definition and muscle growth, and no sign of tolerance to the product (I don't feel the need to up the dose because of lack of performance) GREAT PRODUCT!!! I LOVE IT!!!
