Rice protein is extracted from rice and used in some protein supplements. Epiq Isoalate is another 'sustained release' protein to hit the market. In a way, this protein will work like if you were to mix whey and casein protein. You get the protein that you need right away but you also get a slow digesting protein for extended protein absorption. This is a great protein to have available to anyone that works out on a consistent basis whether it be weight training, running, swimming, hiking, anything that you exert a lot of force tearing down muscle, this will benefit!
This protein tastes extremely great despite it being another powder, mixing based protein. Great flavor means great drinkability! This protein mixes well with basically anything you would like to drink it with. Put it in a blender, shaker cup and give it a whirl. Mixes great! I love the taste of Epiq Isolate Vanilla. The smell alone is awesome, The mixability is great. Taste is perfect with the amount of water suggested. Takes only a few shakes to get it mixed well.

I got to try this and I have to say it tastes amazing! I mixed it with 1% lowfat milk and after letting it settle, I gulped it down pretty quickly because of the amazing taste. It has somewhat of a vanilla cake batter taste. I'd definitely suggest trying this if you love vanilla-flavored foods!
The profile is pretty decent, 20g of protein is certainly fine although a few competitors do seem to offer several more grams, but we're talking like 23g vs. 20g, which may in fact be insignificant to the majority of us. Great job Epiq!- Gender:

I was given EPIQ Isolate to try and off the bat I would say it has a great taste. It will have kind of a powder feel to it while drinking it with the recommend water amount but it doesn't take away from the drink. I also like that EPIQ is banned substance free which means its safe for athletes which is awesome!! I did experience the recovery effect it had and I must say it worked wonders. I also made protein pancakes with it and they were awesome. After further review I have noticed gains in my muscle mass which is awesome and encourages me to keep taking it. All in all it's a good product!! If your an athlete or a someone looking for a clean product this is for you!

Anyone who has used protein supplements knows that flavors can vary greatly and it's often a game of chance when trying a new protein. while it's not as good as phase 8 taste wise, it's still a very good tasting protein. Just a tick below. What I really like about it is that it is low in carbs and fat and fits nicely into any diet. In this regard it's a bit more versatile than a lot of proteins because it has fewer carbs and fat but still tastes excellent.

When I received this product from MuscleTech. I'll tell you how surprised I was when I open up the product. It had a wonderful smell to it and it looked like it will mix well. When I read up on it I was surprised on how well it mix in my mixer bottle. It went down smooth and no chunks after like the other protein products that I have used. I saw that it had a digestive enyzems and free of other supplements. I was easy to digest, it didn't hurt my stomach like other protein product that I have used. I like on the dosing protocal and able to add more scoops to add to my protein intakes. I really like the taste of the product. Normally taste doesn't really bother my just as long it does it thing inside my body. Lol. But, on these product it tasted pretty good and I was pleased on it.
