    Animal studies suggest that whey protein can increase gains in lean body mass resulting from exercise.1 A controlled trial found that six weeks of strength training while taking 1.2 grams of whey protein per 2.2 of pounds body weight per day resulted in greater gains in lean body mass, but improved only one out of four strength tests.2 Another controlled study found that people taking 20 grams per day of whey protein for three months performed better on a test of short-term intense cycling exercise than people taking a similar amount of milk protein (casein).3 However, a double-blind trial found that men taking 1.5 grams per 2.2 lbs of body weight per day of predigested whey protein for 12 weeks along with a strength training exercise program gained only half as much lean body mass and had significantly smaller increases in strength compared with men using a similar amount of predigested casein along with strength training.4 A controlled study of HIV-infected women found that adding whey protein to strength training exercise was no more effective than exercise alone for increasing strength or improving body composition.5

    Whey protein may aid weight loss due to its effect on appetite. In a preliminary study, people were given 48 grams of either whey protein or milk protein (casein). Whey consumption resulted in more hunger satisfaction and reduced the amount of food eaten 90 minutes later compared with casein consumption.1 However, a double-blind study found that men taking 1.5 grams per 2.2 lbs body weight per day of whey protein for 12 weeks along with a low-calorie diet and a strength training exercise program lost the same amount of weight and body fat as did a control group that followed a similar program, but took a casein supplement instead of whey protein.2

    Whey protein is a mixture of some of the proteins naturally found in milk. The major proteins found in whey protein include beta-lactoglobulin and alpha-lactalbumin.             I use this product 5 out of 7 days of the week post workout. When I first got it I thought it was alright but the more I used it the more I despised it. The taste is terrible. After about 4 weeks of working out, the taste has created a stench from my shaker bottle. I've even gone as far as to bleach the bottle and the sour smell of this protein has stayed.

            I take this product before, and after my workouts. Morning workouts seem to do better, because the caffeine gets me going before work. Recovery time isn't the greatest with this, but then again its not bad either. It definitely intensified my workout sessions, and I had never taken a pre-workout with caffeine or thermogenics (sp?). On my off days, Id still take one scoop (regular dose for me) first thing in the morning to get me going. I plan on buying this again. Its added muscle mass, increased my strength, and also trimmed some fat off.

            I bought chocolate flavor and is the worst tasting protein I ever had in my life. It boost energy and strength if you take the 3 scoops, but it tastes so bad that is difficult to have that much. I workout 5 days a week. I take care of what I eat, don't drink and still didn't see any good results with this product.

              Aside from my go-to preworkout mix, this is the only supplement that I use. It fits in perfectly with my fairly strict diet and fairly intense workouts.

              This has received poor marks on taste, and I understand that if you're just mixing it with water - I wouldn't recommend that. My shake recipe is 3 scoops mixed with 8oz of almond milk (or 1% milk if I'm drinking it as a meal replacement) and 5 frozen strawberries (NOT the frozen strawberries that are saturated in sugar and meant for desserts). If you don't like the way that tastes, you're dead inside.

              This has become my everyday breakfast. High protein, low calories, enough caffeine to replace any need for coffee, and it doesn't sit in my stomach like a brick and make me lazy all morning. And it's cheaper than buying an over-carbed fast food style "meal." I also drink this after every workout - 3 or 4 times a week.

              If you can get a good shake recipe that suits your taste buds and you match it with an otherwise strict diet and intense workout regimen, you will see results. No secrets there. This product checks so many boxes it's a no-brainer. I hope they never stop making it.

                earlier wheybolic 60 is Good but this one wheybolic 60 RIPPED, doesnt tastes good and mixes well, I think this is the real reason ppl buy this else everyone would be having smothies as it is protien.

                  So far so good.. when reading the reviews i did hear about the spicy after taste which it does have but not much to take away from the flavor or to not make me drink it. You taste it the most with 3 scoops. I use it with soy milk(more calcium), once in the morning and the other after my workout. I definetly feel the energy and better recovery. I have only taken it for a week and am waiting on my next shipment so i would recommend. I wanna try it for a month to see if it has real effects.

                      It has right amount of protein with fewer calories. It is a combination of regular whey protein and mass gainer.
                      The only con is that it tastes really realy nasty at the end. Even though I mix it well the particles at the end gives very spicy tingling sensation to the tongue.
