Other cutting-edge compounds were added to enhance the overall workout experience including a clinical dose of Betaine. This amino fuel tastes great, mixes easily, and can be used to aid strength and muscle endurance. AMINO BUILD™ also supplies vital electrolytes and Taurine, a powerful cell-volumizing agent, for a truly advanced BCAA-amino formula.- 100% Free-Form 2:1:1 BCAA Matrix
The branched chain amino acids in AMINO BUILD™ are 100% free form. Free-form amino acids are singular molecules, which means they are quickly digested and absorbed by your bloodstream. The formula supplies a massive 8 grams of BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio, which helps fuel your skeletal muscles, preserves muscle glycogen stores and helps to reduce the amount of protein breakdown. - Increase Strength by over 40%:
AMINO BUILD™ is precisely formulated with a 4-gram dose of L-leucine shown in a clinical study to help subjects increase their 5-rep max strength by over 40% in just 12 weeks.1 A clinically studied 2.5-gram dose of Betaine has also been added to the formula that helped subjects significantly enhance their muscular endurance. Together, these will help you get stronger and go longer.* - Enhances Endurance with First Dose
A 1-gram dose of Taurine consumed 2 hours prior to cardio training, the same amount in AMINO BUILD, is clinically shown to improve performance in endurance athletes. - Added Cell-Volumizing Compounds
In addition to its key ingredients, the formula delivers 4 grams of a Cell-Volumization Muscle Complex comprised of Taurine L-glutamine, L-citrulline malate and L-alanine. Together, these compounds work to enhance cell volumization during training. - Best-in-Class Taste AMINO BUILD™ was flavored by experts in one of the world's top flavoring houses in order to taste better than any other amino acid powder on the market.
- Get More for Your MoneyUnlike the competition, Performance Series products contain superior key ingredients in clinically dosed amounts that are fully disclosed so you know exactly what you are paying for.

Amino Acids Overview
Amino Acids Overview- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.
This supplement has been used in connection with the following health conditions:
Used for Amount Why Liver Cirrhosis18 grams daily of L-ornithine-L-aspartate as L-Ornithine-L-Aspartate
[2 stars] As both a supplement and injection, L-ornithine-L-aspartate has been shown to significantly improve liver function, mental status, and brain function.Alcohol WithdrawalRefer to label instructions as L-Tyrosine, D,L-Phenylalanine (DLPA), L-Glutamine, L-Tryptophan, and a Multivitamin
[1 star] In double-blind research, alcoholics treated with L-tyrosine combined with DLPA (D,L-phenylalanine), L-glutamine, prescription L-tryptophan, plus a multivitamin had reduced withdrawal symptoms and decreased stress.
Athletic PerformanceRefer to label instructions as Aspartic Acid
[1 star] Aspartic acid is an amino acid that participates in many biochemical reactions relating to energy and protein. Research suggests that it may help reduce fatigue during exercise.Amino acids are the building blocks of protein. Twenty amino acids are needed to build the various proteins used in the growth, repair, and maintenance of body tissues. Eleven of these amino acids can be made by the body itself, while the other nine (called essential amino acids) must come from the diet. The essential amino acids are isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine. Another amino acid, histidine, is considered semi-essential because the body does not always require dietary sources of it. The nonessential amino acids are arginine, alanine, asparagine, aspartic acid, cysteine, glutamine, glutamic acid, glycine, proline, serine, and tyrosine. Other amino acids, such as carnitine and taurine, are used by the body in ways other than protein-building and are often used therapeutically. L-Theanine is an amino acid found in tea that is said to help relieve stress. Beta-alanine has been used to prevent fatigue during exercise.

Comments about MuscleTech® Amino Build™ - Green Apple:
Taste : 4.5/5
It tastes like a green apple Jolly Rancher, but there is definitely some chalkyness when mixed with cold water. I tried 1 scoop in 20 ounces and 2 scoops in 20 ounces and both were slightly chalky. The powder itself has a consistency similar to flour, while other intras I've had are more like sugar. For me it wasn't a problem; it tastes good and goes down smooth.
I also tried the White Grape flavor and found it to be very tasty as well. Not too sweet and very similar to an Airhead candy.
The label says 1 scoop per 8 ounces, but that would be much too sweet for me. Even 1 scoop in 20 ounces is pretty sweet and doesn't taste watered down at all.
Mixability: 5/5
The highest powder to water ratio I've tried is 2 scoops in 20 ounces and that mixed perfectly fine. No clumps, no leftover powder, and no grittyness. Just to be safe, I usually invert my bottle once or twice before taking a sip at the gym, but that wasn't necessary with Amino Build. It does get a little frothy if you shake it too much, which I found a strange, but just like the foam on a protein shake it goes down pretty quickly. No problems here either.
Endurance: 3.5/5
I won't say it made me want to workout longer than usual, but it did make the end of my workouts feel more manageable. I didn't notice much of an increase in physical endurance, but definitely better mental focus and drive, which might even be better.
Strength Increase: 4/5
Did I feel 40% stronger? Idk, what does that even mean? Should I be lifting 40% more weight? Doing 40% more reps? I really can't figure out why any company would quantify a claim like that, but I definitely think Amino Build helped me move more iron than usual. And if I didn't increase the weight, what I was lifting felt lighter than usual. Maybe it was just placebo effect, but the extra load on my muscles will result in real (and not placebo) gains, which is all that matters.
Other Adverse Side Effects: 5/5
None at all.
Overall: 4./5
I've used a few different free-form BCAA and Intra supplements before trying Amino Build, and one of my biggest gripes about most of them is how their flavor tends to linger in the shaker even after you wash it once or twice. The daily life of any given shaker I use goes something like this. Mix Pre-wo, drink pre-wo, mix intra, go to gym, drink intra, go home, add more water, go to work, drink water, add more water, etc. Is it gross that I reuse the same shaker all day without washing it? Don't know, don't care, but imagine mixing an intra in some water then still kind of tasting it after you've put 100+ ounces of water through that shaker. Anything that watered down is going to taste terrible and don't even get me started on the smell of day old intra. Amino Build solves that problem by not hanging out in the tiny little crevices in plastic shakers. A+ for that; good work MT.- Gender:

Comments about MuscleTech® Amino Build™ - Green Apple:
It has a great profile to start off with and the taste is pretty good it did take a little getting used to though. and It has almost a vanilla like smell to it. But it mixes fairly easily leaves a little foam but no biggy. I do however wish that it didnt require two scoops to get the amount of aminos I'd like if they could make it just one big scoop that be fine by me but that's not to big of an issue really. I would suggest this to anyone trying to mix it up or for first buyers of aminos great product.

Comments about MuscleTech® Amino Build™ - Green Apple:
I really like the idea of having a supplement that I can take before or after a workout to help with recovery with muscle fatigue and growth.
The taste was ok, I have tried both flavors and found the taste was lacking. I perfer Green Apple over Fruit Punch. I might just be use to other products being sweet. I have had a lot of amino products that have been bad tasting, but this has to be the best tasting so far though. On the label it evens says so.
The directions say to take before workout is 2 hours. I find that kind of hard to do since I workout in the morning so I decided to workout later in the day for a few days. Seemed to help with recovery for the next day. Than I decided to switch it up and take after workout, I like it better this way.
The good outweighs the bad so if you are looking for another great product to your Muscletech stack or just for something with recovery, you should buy this for sure. It really helped me with recovering after my Intense cardio and weight workouts.- Where did you hear about this product?:
