                I started taking this product after my daughter's first year in school. That first year she was in K-4, and I caught 13 to 14 colds from her. I knew that cod liver oil could help to boost immunity to things like colds, but I didn't want to spoon in the liquid form due to taste. The gelcaps are far better to take. There is a slight smell, when you open the container. My solution: I just don't bring it up that close to my nose. It goes down easy. My daughter is now in 2nd grade, and the number of colds I catch from her has dropped considerably. From K-5 on up, I've only caught a cold or two each year since. Even when I have caught a cold, the severity has lessened considerably and the amount of time I'm sick has been reduced as well. Great product!

                  The last time it came in a blue and white bottle and had an unpleasant odor and aftertaste.
                  It did not have moisture absorbent inside.

                    I was advised by my doctor to use this product for 30-60 days to diminish knee joint pain and to continue it if it was effective. Still on it after a year plus.
