I use NAC to reduce the build up of mucus in my lungs due to pulmonary fibrosis. Since taking it, I cough less and do not have to clear my throat as often. Take it 3 times a day.

I have been using NAC for over two years and it is a wonderful supplement. I have not had a cold in a few years, I am using it to prevent pnemonia and it works perfectly. I don't have chest pain since I started using and I can see the effect when I ran out of NAC.
