- Health Notes
-
Arginine
Arginine- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about GNC L-Arginine 500:
I can't say enough about this stuff. I've noticed significant gains in muscle mass, longer lasting pumps during and after workouts, improved muscular recovery time, increased vascularity, AND it even boosts sex drive by increasing blood flow. This is probably the best supplement I've gotten from here so far. I'm definitely gonna keep using this. I might get the powder form next time because it comes in a larger quantity and is absorbed quicker and more efficiently in the body.

Comments about GNC L-Arginine 500:
It's best to take this 30 minutes prior to working out and going to sleep. Scientifically, it's less effective when taken with a meal. Absolutely more effective when taken alone with water. I usually take 2 grams per day as a dietary supplement, 5 grams prior to workout as nitric oxide boost, and 10 grams prior to bed rest (at least 8 hours of sleep) to increase muscle mass.
During my workouts I was able to endure longer "pump" times without ever feeling like pulling my muscles, however, this made me much sorer afterwards.
The pills are easy to take, the 500mg L-arginine brand is made with gelatine (the pill), which readily dissolves like jello. You could also snap the pills apart, and put the L-arginine powder in a water bottle; depending on the concentration of L-arginine you add per cup of water, you can use this method as a way to quickly boost muscle tone during your workout when you need to drink the chemical mixed and dissolved already.
This product is best useful for begginers and/or those who don't workout too often (e.g. 2 to 3 days a week).- My Beauty Routine Takes:
