Did what I'd like it to do at first, the little imprint of which way the batteries go inside is incorrect which led to it die quite quick before I figured that out, also the battery compartment isn't sealed so it did get water in it which killed it quickly even trying to be careful hand washing it.

I liked the idea of this product and really hoped it would work. I paid [$] for it and it did work the first time I used it. I put it away and went to use it again a few weeks later. The power function would barely work, so I changed the batteries. That wasn't it. It just doesn't work! I contacted GNC customer service and they told me I was out of luck since it only had a 30-day warranty. What a joke. They should be ashamed of the product and their customer service. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this shaker cup.

I originally purchased this product after my old, trusty GNC automatic mixer broke (the old one lasted for 3 years). Needless to say, the new design made me very excited to try this product out. My training partners who were in the store with me also bought one. The product worked beautifully for the first two weeks, until the button no longer prompted it to blend. My two partners experienced similar difficulties. We tried replacing the batteries, but to no avail.

this product is good for aobut two months and then the wires inside and battries began to corriode so u can only use it as a shaker so i think the need to design this product bette

This is a great product when it is working because it will blend my whey protein efficiently so that it is easy to drink. It takes 6 AAA batteries, which is best to use the rechargeable batteries instead of the disposable. My biggest concern for this is that after 2 months the area where the button is to turn it on ripped open because the plastic piece covering it is not made properly. Water would start to come into the batteries and onto the electrical wire which ruined it. If they engineer this to be a better product then I would advise to purchase this product but currently I would select another product.

I recently ordered what I thought to be the model as seen on this website. Instead I received the same one I had bought earlier at a local GNC. I checked the item number listed on the box, 697329, which was the same as listed on the website. The difference are as followed:

Variation 1 (local GNC)-
Uses 6-AAA batteries
Cover is not properly sealed which poses a risk
of corroding the batteries, electrical leads,
and electric motor if not allowed to dry after rising.
Solution-Remove plastic cover and place a sheet
of folded plastic wrap over the compartment
completely covering it. Then replace plastic
cover and trim off excess plastic wrap. This should help seal it better but do not submerge it in water.
Button must be held down to mix and seems to be
not as durable.
Performance- This power mixer works pretty
well. I have used this for about a month. I have
mixed my whey, casein, and waxy maize in it.
Since the combined voltage is only 9volts don't
try use it to make a smoothie obviously. I have
only used regular alkaline batteries so far. I'm going to use it with Ni-MH batteries since these batteries carry a higher amperage which should give me a faster mix. I hope the motor can handle the amperage and don't burn out. I'll report that in an update review if anyone cares to read.

Variation 2 (on website)-
Uses 4-AA batteries
Cover maybe better sealed according to the
picture but not absolutely sure. Can't say much
since was sent the wrong model.
