Menopause
Menopause- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Menopause is the cessation of the monthly female menstrual cycle. Women who have not had a menstrual period for a year are considered postmenopausal.
Most commonly, menopause takes place when a woman is in her late forties or early fifties. Women who have gone through menopause are no longer fertile. Menopause is not a disease and cannot be prevented. Many hormonal changes occur during menopause. Postmenopausal women are at higher risk of heart disease and osteoporosis, presumably because of a decrease in the production of estrogen or other hormones.

Comments about GNC Women's Progesterone Cream:
This product was recommended to me by a relative to help with night sweats & hot flashes. I've been using it in combination with GNC'S Phytoestrogen Formula dietary supplement for a couple of weeks. I've noticed a big change in night sweats having 1 or 2 a nite down from 10+. Still having hot flashes but they seem to be less frequent & don't last as long. I hope that as I continue to use the products they will become even more effective & will stay that way once the 90+ degree hot humid Florida weather arrives. So far I've been pretty pleased with the effectiveness of the products.

Comments about GNC Women's Progesterone Cream:
This works so far so good after three days!
I have tried bioidentical hormone cream and all it did was make me retain fluid. and cost alot of money. I met a girl at the pool who said try progesterone cream and I am glad I did. I hope it continues to help me with the flashes. I am 47, and according to my blood work almost post menopause. Everyone is different, for the price you just have to try it to see if it helps you.Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Progesterone Cream:
This product worked great for me. I am 42 and was having night sweats and hot flashes, mood swings and weight gain.
I began using this twice a day, not expecting much. I also began taking Black Cohosh in a supplement once daily (per my doctor)
Within 3 days, I could tell it was affecting my body, with the hot flashes fading and night sweats almost disappearing. Also, after two weeks,it seems that my energy level is up, and I've lost a small amount of weight, which is great because I had gained about five pounds over the previous three months. So I happily recommend this product!
One other "side effect" that was not looked for but certainly not negative - I gained about a cup and a half in my bra size :) (though they are a bit tender).Pros

Comments about GNC Women's Progesterone Cream:
Been using this product for 2 weeks and WOW what a difference. Within the first week, I noticed my mood had greatly improved - my husband teased me by saying 'what's wrong, you're in a good mood!' I have lost 2 lbs as well. This product is easy to use twice daily and a little bit goes a long way. I would recommend this product.
