Initially took this because it was recommended in a women's health magazine as a remedy to help manage anxiety. I don't know how long specifically it took to work since it's been a few months now but I definitely feel more calmed down and less frazzled. Didn't realize it also gives a little boost of energy so that was an added plus to supplement my workouts.

I was talking to the lady that works in the store about stress, she mentioned Rhodiola. I bought it (super skeptical) and my goodness, I am really pleased, I am going through a lot right now, and I felt a difference right away after taking the first one!!!!! It really calms me down, and while I do not take it every day, (forget some times), it really relieves stress and anxiousness! (Does not solve problems, unfortunately, :) but I felt that it does better than Xanax!!!!

I tried this for stress relief. When first taking it, it made me jumpy and more anxious with racing heart and feelings of palpitations, this lasted about 1 to 2 weeks. I stuck it out through these initial side effects and continued taking for maybe 8 to 10 weeks. I felt no difference, my stress was the same and my focus unchanged. I do not recommend this as it did not work for me.

I took this because I heard it could help with stress and mental focus boy was I wrong! This made my heart jumpy and made me feel weird. The complete opposite of what I wanted. I was looking to de-stress, not get wired. Returning. Note I only took one pill.
