What will Organic Mother's Milk® do for me? Organic Mother's Milk promotes healthy lactation* and is traditionally used to increase breastmilk production.* How do I know it works? This traditional combination of anise, fennel and caraway has been in continuous use for centuries by European women, often recommended by lactation counselors and medical herbalists. When should I use it? Unless prescribed otherwise, drink one cup of freshly prepared tea 3 to 5 times daily throughout your nursing experience. How does it taste? A pleasantly aromatic balance of sweet, spicy and slightly bitter.- Traditional Medicinals®

Brew Well to be Well
For maximum benefit, medicinal tea must be properly prepared. Pour 8 oz. freshly boiled water over a tea bag in a ceramic cup. Cover cup and steep 10 minutes. These steps directly influence the amount of beneficial compounds that will end up in your teacup! Gently squeeze the tea bag to release any remaining extract. Drink three to five cups daily. Green Tea
Green TeaCommon names:Epigallocatechin Gallate- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Green tea, unlike black and oolong tea, is not fermented, so the active constituents remain unaltered in the herb. The leaves of the tea plant are used both as a social and a medicinal beverage.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals® Organic Mother's Milk:
Being this was my first child, I swore I was going to do everything the right way, but after breastfeeding my daughter for 15 minutes on each side it wasn't enough for her and I was heading back to work so the freezer supply was getting low because I couldn't pump anything after feeding her, I tried this along with the fenugreek pills and my supply has increased amazingly and now she is satisfied and my freezer is filling up again.

I have used Mother's Milk Tea with all three of my pregnancy's. I think this product is wonderful. I always produced a good amount of milk but with Mother's milk tea my milk production was above what my babies needed. So therefore I could pump too. Ideal for a working mother.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals® Organic Mother's Milk:
I am a busy working mom and I just found it hard to keep up with the tea. You are suppose to drink it 3 times a day I would only drink it once and that was in the evening when I had time to boil water for it. In the mornings Im ususally running out of he house and at work I would just forget. And when I did drink it I never noticed the difference.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals® Organic Mother's Milk:
I wanted this so I could respond better to the pump for days I couldn't breastfeed and it seemed to have worked. Before I was getting drops, now in about a 20min setting I can get about 3oz. The taste I had to get used to, after the 2nd week it was okay. I just downed it. I can deal with the taste because it works.

Comments about Traditional Medicinals® Organic Mother's Milk:
I bought this to help with my milk supply as I was returning to work. It seems to help though the concentration of beneficial herbs is not high enough so I supplement with fenugreek capsules. I like the way the tea tastes so I still drink it daily!
