Athletic Performance and Mental Decline During Exercise at Extreme Temperature

Some research has shown that supplemental branched-chain amino acids (BCAA) (typically 10 to 20 grams per day) do not result in meaningful changes in body composition,1 nor do they improve exercise performance or enhance the effects of physical training.2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 However, BCAA supplementation may be useful in special situations, such as preventing muscle loss at high altitudes and prolonging endurance performance in the heat.8, 9 One controlled study gave triathletes 6 grams per day of BCAA for one month before a competition, then 3 grams per day from the day of competition until a week following. Compared with a placebo, BCAA restored depleted glutamine stores and immune factors that occur in elite athletes, and led to a reported one-third fewer symptoms of infection during the period of supplementation.10 Studies by one group of researchers suggest that BCAA supplementation may also improve exercise-induced declines in some aspects of mental functioning.11, 12, 13

      After using Neon Sport's Volt, I was skeptical, but very excited to try Kinetic (BCAA-SAA). I was skeptical because of using other SAA products and feeling nothing from them during my workout, actually almost getting worse throughout. However, Kinetic brought something different to the table. My excitement came from the surprise I had using Volt. First, Kinetic mixes very well, and unlike other products, never really settles. In addition to this, the taste is incredible! I held off into my workout as much as I could while still feeling the effects of Volt, but once I needed the assistance of Kinetic, it was there for me. Kinetic provided me the energy I needed to power through my workout. My strength levels never dropped, and seemingly my rest time was able to be shortened more than usual. My laser-like focus continued well past the end of my workout. Great product! Can't wait to use it again.

        I used it for my fasted workouts mainly and found it to hold my own at night and also replenished and quenched me. it's an easy mixing drink with some very very good tasting flavors (watermelon being my favorite) as theyre balanced and required little bit of water but also took well to a large amount of water as well and it was pretty effective.

        I received a sample of this to try out. I did not get to pick the flavor, and I usually do not choose watermelon, but it wasn't terrible. I always drink my BCAA during my workout, and the flavor was a little strong for my preference.

        I like mixing 1-2 scoops of Kinetic with about 36 oz of water and I sip on that throughout my workout and cardio. The taste is almost impossible to explain but trust me, it is AMAZING! Kinetic helps me get through my workout and everything I need to do while dieting. Not to mention it has helped me tremendously with recovery! Kinetic is a little bit pricey but you are getting what you pay for... QUALITY!

          Neon Sport Kinetic Review. I used 1 scoop daily during my workouts and some times post work out. The mixability of this supplement was great in 20oz of cold water. Stiring with a spoon and the powder completely mixed into the water. The flavoring of this supplement was great and scores a perfect 10 from me. Drinking this product during my training really helped increase my endurance in the gym as well as my recovery after each training session. I noticed much less soreness the following day which allowed me to get back into the gym or on the trail. I was able to train longer as well with this supplement and my endurance during runs lasted a lot longer also. No side effects, Nothing but positives.

            I was given a container of Neon Sport Kinetic to review. I used 1 scoop daily during my workouts as this is an intra-workout supplement. The mixability of this supplement was excellent in 20oz of cold water. A few shakes and the powder completely mixed into the water. The flavoring of this supplement was great and scores a perfect 10 from me. Consuming this product during my training really helped increase my endurance in the gym as well as my recovery after each training session. I noticed much less soreness the following day which allowed me to get back into the gym with more frequency. I was able to train longer as well with this supplement where I had more energy from the start all the way to the end of my workout. No side effects to report from this supplement.
