Lavender
Lavender- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about NNF Now® Lavender Oil:
I have used different types of lavender oil and this ranks up with my favorite. Not only is it soothing for bath water, massage oil or a perfumed oil but it also works to draw infection out. If I have a pimple, I put a little dab of oil on it and it goes away. If I have a mosquito or some other bite, I put a little dab on and the itching is gone the next day. It's wonderful!

Comments about NNF Now® Lavender Oil:
This is the first essential oil that I have purchased which does not irritate my skin. I could actually splash the oil on into my skin. I apply it directly to my upper chest. Would like to combine it with jojoba oil one day to see if the aroma would last longer that way. Use it every other day when I want to relax laying down on the bed or if I want to wear it instead of perfume.

Comments about NNF Now® Lavender Oil:
I fell into aromatherapy by accident and Lavender was one of my first oils. It has the nicest aroma and is very soothing. Ive even used it as a deodorant. I have allergies and can't use most colognes and body sprays but I can use lavender with no problem. We even use it as a air freshener. I recommend lavender to all my family and friends. At first my daughter thought I was silly but now she is in my room taking my lavender from me!
