I supposed for general weight training, this gloves might serve as a barrier for germs. But the gloves themselves do no good for heavy lifting and to protect my hands. I bought them specifically for my chin-up routines. I do about 10 sets of 12, and it really takes a toll on my hands. I never cared for the cd that came with it and never even installed it so i will not comment on this. I will deff spend the few extra bucks next time and get better ones, I did not think price would be an issue.

These gloves are cheap, comfortable, and fit great. They have excellent grip on bars and dumbbells, plus the padding is great and right were you need it. Defiantly a step up from the riding gloves I was using.

These gloves fit great, are comfortable, and have great grip. The padding gives excellent support and padding were you need it. Defiantly a a step up from the riding gloves I was using.
