FULL SPECTRUM PROTEIN MIX
- Features 17g of High-Wuality Protein and Only 4g of sugar
- Supports Muscle Recovery and Growth
- Great source of Essential of Essential Amino Acids and BCAA
GNC Pro Performance Whey Protein Complex combines protein from whey, soy, caseinate and egg to provide you with a full spectrum of amino acids.
Protein serves as a dietary source of amino acids. The body needs amino acids to build the various proteins used in the growth, repair and maintenance of body tissues such as skin, bones and muscles. More specifically, it supplies branched chain amino acids (BCAA) to athletes. BCAA are essential amino acids, which are part of muscle protein. They may preserve muscle glycogen stores and help reduce the amount of protein breakdown during exercise.
PROTEIN CONSUMPTION
Depending on your athletic goals, your protein requirements can vary. serious athletes should consume approximately one gram of protein per pound of body weight. This should be spread over four to six small meals. Inadequate protein in your diet can limit muscle protein synthesis which can compromise your athletic goals. The amino acids from whye protein move quickly through the digestive system. The consumption of these protein will result in a rapid rise in blood amino acids and stimulate protein synthesis.
Whey Protein Complex can be taken immediately before and/or after your workout to support muscle protein synthesis.
Typical Amino Acid Profile:
STACK WITH: GNC Pro Performance® RapidDrive® Arginine 5000™ and Creatine Monohydrate 5000.

Whey Protein
Whey Protein- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Whey protein has one of the highest protein digestibility-corrected amino acid scores (PDCAAS; a measure of protein bioavailability) and is more rapidly digested than other proteins, such as casein (another milk protein). 1

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® Whey Protein Complex - Vanilla:
I decided I needed to "detox" because as a student with a job and little money and time, I eat garbage. I've been having horrible back pain, new asthma symptoms, skin allergies and other things. It's like I'm falling apart. I also live in a city and I'm sure the dirty air isn't helping. I've been aiming to eat just vegetables and fruit (raw) with a serving of this whey protein 3-4 times a day, and supplementing if I get hungry with eggs, yogurt, stuff like that. I don't have time to work out but I do walk a lot, and carry heavy items up and down stairs at work. I've already noticed after two days that I'm not as fatigued and I'm also able to concentrate better on school work. Sure, I could attribute this to skipping on the ramen, chinese and cheap processed foods, but even if that's the case (which is likely) implementing this whey protein into my diet is helping me control what I put into my body and giving me a routine. In addition, I know I'm getting good nutrition and I'm actually saving money on food which is awesome. The brand itself is great. I figured I'd try to save money since I'd be buying 2-3 of these a month by going for a store brand and I can't imagine improving the taste to be honest. It's like a milkshake but tastes more "nutritious" if that makes any sense. If you're buying this, you've probably already had protein shots in smoothies at Jamba juice or had protein-enriched granola before, so this won't even be very noticeable to you. There is cheaper whey protein out there ([...] has a 5lb bag for around 30$) but granted, this is easier to get.How I mix it: I use water, skim milk or soy, depending. If I do use milk/soy milk I dilute it- so 1 part water, 1 part milk, and a scoop per 8 ounces of fluid. It's pretty rich like this, so you could probably even use less whey protein if you want to try to budget it.
