- Health Notes
-
Creatine Monohydrate
Creatine Monohydrate- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® Creatine Monohydrate - Fruit Punch:
This product is amazing! It will not help you do more reps, but it allows you to put up more weight. In about a month I gained 14 pounds, and although some of it was water weight most of it was muscle. I did not have any problems with this product, but other reviewers wrote that it was hard on their stomach. I believe that this is because the product settles and if this happens to you, you may want to take less product. Also this doesn't taste that bad, it just lacks some sugar, so if you need it to be more sweet I would just add some sugar.

For the first week I took it as follows:
Day 1-4-two scoops after workout and one scoop before bed
Days 5-9-two schoops after workout
Remainding usage-one scoop after workout and one scoop on off days.
Usually drank a glass or two of water with every meal and didnt feel NEGATIVE side effects.
Before I started I weighted 168, about 2 weeks in I weighed 177 (water weight) and then when I finished, my weight leveled out at 174. I'll definitley be buying this again.Pros

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® Creatine Monohydrate - Fruit Punch:
I was never a creatine type of person. I decided I wanted to build stronger muscle and this gets it done. I just finished my first tub and I've never gotten results like this. I will continue to purchase this product. I gave it a 4 star because it is gritty and the taste isn't too pleasurable(if that's a word). But the results out weigh everything.

Comments about GNC Pro Performance® Creatine Monohydrate - Fruit Punch:
I can't comment on side effects. I just know that hydration is important when taking any supplement and seems to be stressed even more with creatine. I don't consider more frequent urination a side effect, because I am taking in more liquid. I would reccomend that you drink this as fast as possible so you don't feel the graininess in your mouth. The taste is tolerable at best. I have noticed a little mass gain, but mostly endurance increases that add 2-3 reps per workout. I am still currently in the middle of a cycle.
