There is a lot of mis-information out there on post work out drinks and recovery. So many people think you need protein right after a workout, but the truth is you need carbohydrates. After your workout, your muscles are torn down, and carbohydrates actually build muscle, it is the protein needed to repair the muscle. I use Waximaize as a gainer when I am bulking up. I make a fruit shake right after my workout then about 30min-1hr after my shake I eat a meal high in protein. Plus, you get a good amount for the money.
