SPOON STIRRED: 100% Whey Gold StandardTM is INSTANTIZED. That means if you forgot your shaker cup or dont have time to get out the blender, you can just add one rounded scoop of 100% Whey Gold StandardTM to a glass filled with 6-8 oz of water, nonfat milk or your favorite beverage. Then mix it up with a spoon. Stir for about 20 seconds or until powder is completely dissolved.
SHAKER: Bringing a shaker cup with you to the gym is the best way to get a powerful dose of protein immediately after your workout. Just add one rounded scoop of 100% Whey Gold StandardTM to your shaker cup and then pour in 6-8 ounces of your preferred beverage. Cover and shake for 25-30 seconds. Dont have a shaker cup? I use this for my daily morning shake. I tries a variety of others and in terms of value, taste, and mix-ability, this is one of the whey proteins I use regularly. I think this has a better nutrition profile than MyoFusion, but MyoFusion is priced a bit lower (comparing both on sale, not necessarily at GNC), so I'm ambivalent between the two. Those two and ProNos are pretty equal in terms of mixability, consistency, and taste. On a sidenote, I can't stand when GNC reps say they 100% whey is the same, because it's not...the GNC whey proteins mix a bit too well and add no thickness, so I guess it's my personal preference but I hate how watery GNC whey proteins are. This Optimum Gold on the other hand is just right.

This company makes two vanilla flavors, this is the better one. The vanilla ice cream is very weak, so often times its like having unflavored powder. Same nutritional profile as most of the other Gold Standard powders and good whey blend over all.

I have been taking protien for quite some time now, and i just started to use Gold Standard whey protein about a month ago. i must say that of all the products i have used, this is the best when it comes to building muscle. in the past five weeks i havegained about seven pounds of muscle and i feel better than ever. there is really no downside to this product except for the price. its not too expensive, but it will make you [$] poorer. but the five pound bucket will last a long time! so all in all, it isa tramendous value.

Optimum Nutrition Whey Proteins always provide he most bang for your buck and this one is no exception. Only negative is that it has a pretty awful aftertaste that hits you really quick and hard after you drink it.
