Whey protein is a mixture of some of the proteins naturally found in milk. The major proteins found in whey protein include beta-lactoglobulin and alpha-lactalbumin. I use this in my smoothies. I use frozen strawberries, unsweetened almond milk, almond butter, & sometimes oatmeal or flaxseed. It mixes so very easy & is sooo good. It's a little pricey, however, I think it's worth every penny. I wish it came in a bigger size. I always buy vanilla protein because it's so much you can add to it. I tried many, however, this is by far, my favorite NOW!!!

          I started using Jay Robb Whey Protein about 3 years ago. The vanilla flavor tastes great! I use about a half a scoop in the morning and mix it with oatmeal. After workouts, I mix a whole scoop in some orange juice or milk. When mixed with orange juice, it tastes like orange cream--really good. Since I've taken it regularly, my waist size has decreased a good bit, and I know this has to have played a role--adding extra protein in the AM without the extra sugar. I like the fact that it's sweetened with stevia, too, and not artificial sweeteners.

            I pretty much mix the vanilla whey protein with water or low fat milk and add a few strawberries. At first I had a hard time mixing it until I first blended the water/milk with the strawberries and then added the protein; I drink it in the morning as my breakfast and it keeps me pretty full until lunch time.
