Dietary Supplement
- Micronized Glutamine for Recovery & Anti-Catabolic Effects
The unique RapidDrive Technology makes this supplement more advanced than regular glutamine supplements. The glutamine molecules have been pulverized, or "micronized," from large molecules into smaller particules that deliver fast fuel for powerful performance and are easier for muscles to absorb. You can expect recovery support with this rapid source of intramuscular nitrogen. The result is a powerful anti-catabolic formula.
Best of all, it mixes easily in any beverage or sports drink and tastes absolutely refreshing.

Glutamine
Glutamine- Reliable and relatively consistent scientific data showing a substantial health benefit.
- Contradictory, insufficient, or preliminary studies suggesting a health benefit or minimal health benefit.
- For an herb, supported by traditional use but minimal or no scientific evidence. For a supplement, little scientific support.
Our proprietary "Star-Rating" system was developed to help you easily understand the amount of scientific support behind each supplement in relation to a specific health condition. While there is no way to predict whether a vitamin, mineral, or herb will successfully treat or prevent associated health conditions, our unique ratings tell you how well these supplements are understood by the medical community, and whether studies have found them to be effective for other people.
For over a decade, our team has combed through thousands of research articles published in reputable journals. To help you make educated decisions, and to better understand controversial or confusing supplements, our medical experts have digested the science into these three easy-to-follow ratings. We hope this provides you with a helpful resource to make informed decisions towards your health and well-being.

Supplementing with it may help people overcome peptic ulcers.Glutamine is the most abundant amino acid (protein building block) in the body and is involved in more metabolic processes than any other amino acid. Glutamine is converted to glucose when more glucose is required by the body as an energy source. It serves as a source of fuel for cells lining the intestines. Without it, these cells waste away. It is also used by white blood cells and is important for immune function.

Comments about GNC GNC Pro Performance® RapidDrive Glutamine 5000:
I bought this instead of my usual Force Factor. I got off the Force Factor due to price but I would rather put this amount back towards the Force Factor as I can really see how sore I am after cycling and my circuit training. I also seem to be more fatigue during my workout as well. I thought it may have been a one time thing but I am half way through this and every time I cycle or workout I am incredibly sore afterwards. I would recommend this product just because L-Glutamine is such an important supplement but for me I will be going back on Force Factor once this is gone.
