Parts Used & Where Grown
Astragalus is native to northern China and the elevated regions of the Chinese provinces, Yunnan and Sichuan. The portion of the plant used medicinally is the four- to seven-year-old dried root, collected in the spring. While over 2,000 types of astragalus exist worldwide, the Chinese version has been extensively tested, both chemically and pharmacologically.1

I use this product all year to prevent colds and especially in the winter because it prevents me from getting sinus infections. Before I started taking this, I was at the doctors every 2 wks for antibiotics for a sinus infection or cold, now, I never get sinus infections or sick, unless I stop taking the astragalus. I know now that I need it to stay healthy. No bad things to say about it.

I have been taking this for about 2 years now. I'm an RN who is exposed to a host of germs and illnesses on a daily basis. I've rarely gotten sick since starting Astragalus and I've even noticed that during the few times I have gotten sick that if I double up on the daily dose it seems that my illness doesn't last as long and I recover faster than I used to. I would recommend this product to everyone!
