Evening primrose oil (EPO), comes from the seeds of the evening primrose plant. Like black currant seed oil and borage oil, EPO contains gamma linolenic acid (GLA), a fatty acid that the body converts to a hormone-like substance called prostaglandin E1 (PGE1).

I have suffered from PMDD/PMS for years. Doctors wanted me to take antidepressants and birthcontrols & I tried it about 3 years ago- ended up with IBS!!! Went off all synthetic medications. I take Evening Primrose 3 x a day and had NO PMS symptoms this month. I am so happy that I have finally found something that works!!! Oh and I take St. John's Wart and Aloe... all three together is really helping my IBS symptoms too.

I am 43 yr/old within the last 6mths are so I have started having pre-menopause symptons. I went to my doctor and she informed me that I have not reached full blown menopause so I did some research on my own and found Evening Primrose.. I have been suffering with acne since my early 20's. I have tried all types of skin clearing products and nothing worked. After 10 years of going through let downs with products, I've finally found "Evening Primrose". What a great product! I have noticed a drastic change in my skin. I do have breakouts but not as often and they don't hurt as bad as they use to. Even my husband has noticed the difference in my skin. I will say you will need to take this faithfully. I missed a few dosages and I did notice that my skin started to have breakouts. Overall, I will give it 6 stars!!!
