Accelerade is a really good alternative to Powerade/Gatorade and similar sports beverages because of the carbohydrate + protein blend in addition to the regular electrolytes that you would expect in this kind of product. I feel a significant increase in available energy during my training rides (I'm a long distance cyclist), and minimized fatigue. I bought a few single serving packets during some rides earlier this summer, and after that I really didn't look back. I don't go on any long endurance rides these days without making sure my bottles are filled with Accelerade. I must admit the taste isn't the most stellar thing ever, but all things considered it's really insignificant compared to the benefits you gain from staying hydrated with this superior mix of essentials.

I use this product before and during my spinning classes and it is phenominal. On those days where you don't think you have it in you to finish class, this stuff really works. It also shortens recovery and helps with muscle fatigue. Great product, you won't be dissapointed!! Tastes great also!
