Very disappointed in this. The Monster Milk Latte is by far my favorite post-workout drink, so I figured I'd try the Casein by CytoSport. It has a wierd taste, which I can get past, but my major gripe is the lack of mixing. I use a blender bottle, and it still stays lumpy and unmixed, like Cream-of-Wheat that is made too quickly. I'm going back to the Optimum Nutrition Casein when I finish this tub. Good thing I only bought the 2lb.

This is the first casein product I'd ever bought since it was both lactose and gluten free. It's great. Mix easily in a blender bottle (sometimes there's a few small clumps, but they're tasty and I don't mind them. I usually mix it with water, though I have mixed it with almond milk as well. If you perfer a thinner liquid, add more water, if you just want to take a shot of it (granted it is then fairly thick) 4-6 oz. of liquid will do.

Does not mix well. Very very gritty, very chalky. This is the first protein supplement I've ever purchased that was like this, so you can understand how disappointed I'd be with this. I'd like to point out the laughably obvious sponsored/false review below mine about how perfect and "high quality" this product is. I am confident this is casein, and does what it's supposed to do. It does taste like vanilla. The grittiness is really unpleasant. It was given 2 stars because 3 stars is labeled as "average," and this is clearly well below average. I won't be purchasing this casein again.
