Obesity
Dose: 3.2 to 4.2 grams dailyA double-blind trial found that exercising individuals taking 1,800 mg per day of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) lost more body fat after 12 weeks than did a similar group taking a placebo.1 However, two other studies found that amounts of CLA from 0.7 to 3.0 grams per day did not affect body composition.2, 3 Most double-blind trials have found that larger amounts of CLA, 3.2 to 4.2 grams per day, do reduce body fat;4, 5, 6, 7 however, one double-blind study of experienced strength-training athletes reported no effect of 6 grams per day of CLA on body fat, muscle mass, or strength improvement.8

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is a slightly altered form of the essential fatty acid linoleic acid. Animal research suggests an effect of CLA supplementation on reducing body fat.1, 2 Controlled human research has reported that 5.6 to 7.2 grams per day of CLA produces only non-significant gains in muscle size and strength in experienced and inexperienced weight-training men.3, 4, 5 A double-blind study of a group of trained men and women reported reduced body fat in the upper arm after 12 weeks of supplementation with 1.8 grams per day of CLA.6 Further research using more accurate techniques for measuring body composition is needed to confirm these findings.

      CLA is a natural component in foods, except this concentrated pill offers a very effective and fast fat metabolism boost, it literally melted the lbs on my tummy. I have no more of the dreaded muffin top/bulge, and I feel stronger, leaner, and more defined on my torso especially. I exercise at least 4/5 times weekly, and eat healthy foods, but this in addition to the GNC line of Total Lean Protein Shakes, (the banana and strawberry flavors are yummy!) and Raspberry Ketones and green coffee extract chews, along with the Burn 60 thermogenic, not taken together at once, because that's overloading your kidney, but once daily, and alternating make your workouts much more effective and you will see the lbs just melt! I also drink just 1 cup of coffee daily as a stimulant, and drink lots of water, eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits. Also, B12 chews GNC brand give you a boost of energy, and for me, works as a hunger suppressant. CLA takes time, for me it took 3 weeks. Taken 2x daily, I'm tiny 5'1'', soo 2 pills I thought was sufficient. But be patient! And certainly don't expect to lose weight without putting in hard work!! I lost 6 lbs. :)

      I was looking at different weight loss products when I came across CLA online. After reading about it's claims I went to my local GNC and grabbed a bottle of the Total Lean brand and everything it says on the bottle came true. It helped my body composition, lost weight, and made my muscles become more solid and I've been taking it for almost a year now! I am on disability and can not work out like I once did ,but I have lost the weight I wanted and the muscles I have already make me look cut! I am 37 years old so you know. GNC Total Lean CLA WORKS!!!

      I am a 24 year old athletic female and was looking for something to help me tone up a bit more with the summer quickly approaching. I didn't want a "diet" pill because that usually means a thermo. supplement and those are just loaded with caffeine and make you sweat, which is how it works. I asked a GNC professional what his thoughts on CLA were and if it would honestly be worth it. He said yes, but he would advise getting the 180 capsule bottle because CLA is only proven effective with 4-5 pills a day... so I tried it and all I can say is wow! I added 4 pills a day to my daily workout routine and I have dropped fat and gained muscle like crazy! In just a little over a month I 5% of my body fat. I would recommend adding this to your workout routine to EVERYONE trying to tone up!!

        I have taken so many other products to help assist my weight loss with such a hectic and busy schedule. I have been taking this with nite-burn, waterex and the multi-strain pro-biotic.           I am a 19 year old male in college that is six feet tall. I have been 200-2008 pounds for a long time. When I got to college I followed what others said, THE WAY TO LOSE WEIGHT IS EATING HEALTHIER. If you just change your diet you will loose 10 pounds. But it needs to be a lifestyle change in your eating not a 2 week diet plan. So once I got to the 190s I started going to the gym because the stronger you are ( or more muscle mass you have) the more calories your body burns naturally during the day and sleep. This is why doing squats and strengthening quads is important because the quads are one of, if not the biggest muscle group so they burn the most calories. So once I started lifting hard and jogging 30 minutes( 3-4 times a week) I lost a few more pounds.

          That is when I saw stuff on CLA, so I did research, and liked what I saw. So I bought it from the closest gnc and had 4 capsules a day( 1 with breakfast, 1 with lunch, and 2 with dinner). At first I didn't see much change but 2 weeks into taking the CLA continuously eating healthy now the fat is ( sorry to be cliche) melting away and now I am 183 and seeing my six pack.
          Note: I did not really do crunches or ab workouts like I should have but if you just lose enough body fat around your stomach you will see your natural six-pack.
          Now, the strategy I use now is weighing myself ONLY twice a week. Monday morning and Friday morning. The reason being is because I work harder to see a difference instead of constantly looking at the scale and seeing my weight go up and down.

            Went to my local GNC, the lady was very helpful and suggested CLA Total Lean. I've only been taking for 3 days 3/26/14 and will be making weekly comments. I am taking along with walking as my excercise and a healthy diet. (no sugar) sigh... :). so far easy on my stomach and I HAVE noticed more energy and no jetters. So far no cons.

              I really like GNC's form of CLA. It really helps me from over-eating. I take two in the morning before a meal in addition to another two before my dinner.                 I have used CLA for over two years off and on, whenever I gain a few pounds this is my go to product. This time I used these in conjunction with Ketone Pure, and have lost 10 lbs. in three weeks. I'm a 45 year old female, who rarely exercises. I did cut back on my carbs a bit. Very happy with this combo.
