This product did make a big difference for our pug with hip dysplasia. I was skeptical, but wanted to try glucosamine/chondroitin before resorting to surgery. We chose the liquid as our research revealed that Glucosamine is much more effective in a liquid form.
Maggie now jumps on the couch by herself (she never did before - she is a rescue - we didn't bring her home until she was 3, and the problem was already present), limps less, plays more and just plain gets around better. With the increase in mobility, and probable decrease in pain, it is easier to get her the exercise she needs. She has built back lost muscle in her "bad" leg.
I was skeptical. I don't have a lot of faith in supplements. I really did not think that we would see much difference in Maggie, and that we would proceed with surgery. To my surprise, this product DOES work for our little dog. If nothing else, we have at least delayed putting our little pug through the trauma of surgery.- My Beauty Routine Takes:

We have a pill-savvy large dog who can find a pill hidden in, well, anything! The liquid form is really good for her (we just put it over her food once a day). My only complaints are the size of the bottle (would like a larger one available or bulk discounts)and it would be helpful to have an easy to measure out cap.

I found this product has worked real well on my 9 year old chihuahua. She was always very active chasing balls and such. It started to catch up with her, slowing her down and this product has really improved her. I can tell a big difference. It last a good amount of time because she is only 8 pounds. She didn't care for the flavor at first but now i can tell she really likes it.
