This product does not contain petroleum so I feel good that I am not poisoning the cat. All I have to do is put a gob of it in his bowl and he eats it on his own, no wrestling with him. He had a broken leg and arthritis so if he gets constipated at all, he wants to poop outside litter box on a soft rug This keeps him in the litter box (mostly :( ) I have purchased multiple tubes and give it to him daily. I wish it came in a larger tube.
