My cat has skin allergies and dry skin, so I thought this product may help at least reduce some itching if it could resolve the dry skin. It's worked well and while it won't solve the allergy issue, his coat is abolutely gorgeous and he is itching less. The bonus is he LOVES this stuff. He laps it up straight from a spoon. If I forget to give it to him, he will come and hound me until I give it to him. The down side is it's a bit pricy for the size bottle. I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for the price.

My cats eat canned food so I thought they wouldn't be able to notice if I mixed this oil in their food. One of my cats is pretty smart apparently and didn't like the smell/flavor. It smells just like fish oil so I'm not sure why it didn't appeal to her. My other cat was hesitant to eat her food but ate it anyways. I haven't used it on a daily basis only because I bought it in particularly for the cat that didn't like it (go figure), so I'm not sure of it's effectiveness.
