Directions for Mixing:
Gently shake or stir one part powdered milk replacer into two parts warm water. A part is any measuring device you use: teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup. Do not mix more milk replacer than can be consumed in 24 hours. Do not use a blender. Reconstituted milk replacer should be kept refrigerated. One 6 oz can of powder makes approximately 30 oz of liquid mixed 1:2.

Directions for Feeding:
All kittens should receive their mother's milk for at least 2 days, if possible. This colostrum milk gives extra nutrition and temporary immunity against some diseases.

Warm reconstituted milk replacer to room or body temperature before serving. Feed kittens 2 tablespoons (30 mL) of liquid per 4 ounces (115 g) of body weight daily. The daily feeding amount should be divided into equal portions for each feeding. Kittens’ needs will vary and this amount may have to be increased or decreased depending on the individual kitten. Young and/or weak kittens should be fed every 3 to 4 hours. Older kittens can do well being fed every 8 hours. Weigh the kittens 3 times per week to assure adequate feeding. When kittens are old enough to lap, begin offering the milk replacer in a saucer.

Pregnant & Lactating Queens: Feed 2 teaspoons (4 g) milk replacer powder per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) of body weight daily.

Growing kittens already on solid food, show cats and/or convalescing cats: Feed 1 teaspoon (2 g) milk replacer powder per 5 lbs. (2.2 kg) of body weight daily by top dressing food.


Warning:  Unopened powder should be stored in a cool, dry place. Reconstituted milk replacer must be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Opened powder must be refrigerated for up to 3 monthsor can be frozen for up to 6 months to preserve freshness. Not for human consumption. Sold by weight not by volume.
