Two of my senior german sheps age 11 and 10 have one has hip loss and the other front loss in the wrist. One has to have it crushed and licks the pille the other not. After taking it both of the dogs mobility is much better for the day until the evening. Despite the vet gives me a nonsteroioal antinflamatory they can use with it. I do not have to use the vets medication with this product only when necessary saving me money in the long run. Thank You for this great product I just moved here from NY.

Our 11 year old Lab seemed a little better after a week, and took a sudden downturn after three weeks. Prior to using the product, she just had a little stiffness in the morning, but could get around fine otherwise. Now, she's almost unable to move.

The directions say "If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact a veterinarian." I think there is a specific reason they say that. I don't think this is a safe product.

Our older dog is a mixed breed dog German Shepherd and Chow and unfortunately has been diagnosed with severe arthritis to one of her hips. It was to the point that she could barely stand up or walked with a limp badly. I found this at Petsmart and decided to try it out. Thank God for sending this our way!
Within about 2 days we noticed an improvement in our dogs gait and she was able to stand up and move around the house much better. Within about a week she was out in the yard and starting to play a little with our other dogs.
Unfortunately, our dog won't eat the tablets without them being mixed in with some moist food. She is rather picky about food and treats anyway. Our other two dogs, however, are more than happy to eat these right out of my hand like they were treats. Our dog gets the best use out of these if I give her 2 in the evening with food. If she is having a really bad time- like in cold or damp weather,then I give her GNC's Canine aspirin (1) mixed in at the same time. So far, I hae been able to get by with just 2 tablets per day but have the option of going up to 4 per day if we need to.
I highly recommend these meds to anyone who has a dog with any type of joint or bone problems. The price is good too-as a matter of fact, the pet stores are selling the GNC brand thru their stores. I find that it is more convenient and sometimes less expensive to buy straight from GNC.

The product is easy to use, I just drop the tablets in the dogs food bowls and they gobble them up. They seem to be quite effective, our dog's limp goes away when we keep her on it on a regular basis.

My experience with this product has only been fantastic. I came across the product after noticing my Lab/Weim cross was getting up more slowly and starting to slip a bit on my wood floors. She's 14 years old and has only started showing issues with stiffness in the last few months. I figured the product was worth a shot, and the difference was incredible.

I noticed after around 2-3 weeks that she was at the door to greet me once again by the time I open the door, whereas previously she moved more slowly having been napping all day. She no longer slips on the floor after she steps off the bottom step, which tells me that she's less stiff overall. She actually seems to enjoy playtime even more as it's easier for her to bounce around again. The difference in our particular case is very noticeable.

The reason I gave this a 5 instead of just a 4 is that the flavor was appealing enough to her that I literally just hand her 2 pills each day and she eats them without needing a pill pocket or other treat. She gobbles them right down! On top of that, she never experienced any upset stomach issues that I could detect, so I'm extremely happy with this product and won't be trying another brand as long as she keeps enjoying them.

I switched my 11 yr old Golden Retriever mix to the GNC Pets Ultra Mega Senior 3 hip & joint supplements a few weeks ago, and WOW, what a difference. I started her on the pet meds ones early last year, and they did help a lot. I searched for something with more of the natural anti inflammatory plus omega in them and found these, and now she's almost like her old self. It's so fantastic to see her running around again and getting up so much easier. I'm so happy with the results of this, and SO happy that I can use these now for a while before switching to organ damaging RX meds. Thank you GNC Pets! This is a fantastic product.

My 8 year old bulldog was starting to have mobility problems. She's now much more active. I think it has improved her quality of life.
