Gave the stuff to my dog (an 8 yr old Golden) three times. Refused every time regardless of how I tried to mask it - ie butter, cheese, etc. He absolutely refused it plain. When I first opened the jar the peanut butter smell was pretty overwhelming. We switched to beef flavor with great results. Acceptance was immediate with or without "enhancement.:
