I have a six year old black lab.
Recently the vet recommended that I start him on this kind of supplement to preserve his joint health.
The first time he had one, he spat it out. Now he will simply swallow it whole when I give it to him. Sometimes he will chew it; but you can tell he's not a fan.
So far he has experienced no adverse effects from it and he continues to be a happy boy.

My golden retriever will not take the pill form of this supplement. Have since tried the liquid form and he will take it over his food. It is more expensive this way.

My dogs seem to like them, we have a chocolate Labrador that has a bad knee and she seems to be doing a lot better since we have started giving her the GNC joint suppliment on a daily basis. They are easy to use, we just put it in their food twice daily. We have been using it for about 8 to 12 months and it seems to be a good quality product, I have no complaints about it!!
