This super easy and healthy Cream of Broccoli Soup with Whey Protein recipe is a great way to use leftovers. Full of flavor, fiber and featuring GNC Pro Performance® 100% Whey Protein, this recipe makes a great post workout meal.

Ingredients
– 3 cups cooked broccoli
– 1 cup vegetable broth
– 5 fresh basil leaves
– 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
– 4 Tbsp. butter, softened
– ¼ cup all-purpose flour
– 2 cups skim milk
– 2 scoops Unflavored GNC Pro Performance® 100% Whey Protein
– ½ cup grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
– ¼ tsp. white pepper
Directions
Combine broccoli, broth, basil and Super Fiber in blender or food processor and process until smooth; set aside
Melt butter in soup kettle over medium heat; blend in flour and cook paste for 1-2 minutes
Then slowly add milk, stirring constantly
Stir in Whey Protein and grated cheese
Continue stirring and bring mixture to a boil; reduce heat immediately and simmer for 3-5 minutes allowing mixture to thicken slightly
Add blended broccoli mixture and white pepper
Cook until heated through
Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot
